Kim Kardashian’s net worth has taken a big hit. Kim’s no longer one of the most profitable celebrity on social media. Instead, it’s Beyonce who has managed to clinch the top spot, as her Instagram posts are now worth a whopping $1 million dollars each.
According to D-Marie Analytics, Beyonce is the most influential celebrity on Instagram and that’s because she has the highest numbers of followers, post reach, engagement and click rate. Back in February, she set a new record when her pregnancy announcement on Instagram was the most-liked post the photo-sharing app has ever seen. It racked up 10.8 million likes in a few short hours.
Bey’s post shattered Selena Gomez’s previous Instagram record, when she received 6.6 million likes for a sponsored post of her sipping on a bottle of Coca-Cola.
So, where does that leve Kim Kardashian? Of course, she’s been sharing personal photos on her social media pages again, but it hasn’t been the same since her horrific Paris robbery. She’s been more cautious about the photos she shares online.
A lot of Kim’s posts receive up to 200,000 likes per photo. Her photos with her children North West and Saint West manage to garner up to a million likes, but that’s no where near the amount of attention Beyonce gets over at her Instagram page.
Clearly, Kim doesn’t want to make the same mistakes she made before. But at the same time, she’s struggling to hold on to her title as the biggest and most recognizable celebrity of the entertainment world. Being a social media celebrity is her bread and butter.
Sure, Kim and the Kardashians aren’t going broke anytime soon. But at the same time, this might be a clear indication that their reign at the top might be coming to an end. After all, they’ve been making headlines for nearly a decade now. A lot of fans and critics wouldn’t be surprised if their popularity might be coming to an end.
