Tonight the top 4 are fighting to make it to the finale. The all-stars open the show performing a hip-hop number against a black and white backdrop with flashing lights. The audience goes wild.

The top four show their rehearsals for the week were they practice a powerful piece together. They take the stage, all dancing as an element; wind, fire, rain and earth.

Kiki and Taylor have been paired up for the first time ever. They are working on a cha cha. Taylor is stresses. She doesn’t want to let him down. The two perform a sexy piece that has Mary thrilled. She tells Taylor she has grown so much. Kiki was a hot tamale. Nigel tells Kiki he commands the stage. Taylor did the piece with such confidence. Vanessa thinks they owned the stage. They were incredible.

Lex and Koine were paired this week. They are performing a ballroom piece. He is a pizza man and she is a young girl answers the door in her robe. The pair dance to Nat King Cole. The crowd swoons. Nigel loved it. Koine’s technique was nicely done. Vanessa thinks it was excellent. It was mind-blowingly dynamic. Mary thinks their piece had everything in it. Koine was a natural. Lex looked amazing. It was one of her favorite routines. She screams. Nigel plugs his ears.

Kiki reflects back on his time on the show. He has never really been ready for SO You Think You Can Dance. He has had a great time and learned a lot. Being able to dance and train with Mandy Moore the choreography has been great.

Kiki takes the stage and dances a slow contemporary piece with Jenna, his favorite duet of the season. The judges stand. Jenna cries. She is so sad. She loves dancing with Kiki. Vanessa starts to tear up. Vanessa thanks Mandy for the routine. She thinks it is even better the 2nd time around. She thinks the piece, their connection and the fact that he took on this challenging dance was terrific. Mary thinks he surrendered to the music. She feels like Kiki could be a contender. It is a beautiful thing. Nigel thinks they are great together. It is beautiful to watch. They have an incredible connection.

Lex takes the stage with his solo. Before he performs we see his mother talk about how proud she is of him. He dances, showing off spins and kicks, his specialty.

Koine talks about her adventures on the show this season. She talks about joining Marko as his dance partner. She thanks him for believing in her. Her first live show was the hardest week. She couldn’t find herself. She wanted to feel worth it.

Marko and Koine perform their contemporary piece as insects. The crowd stands after their piece, clapping and cheering. Mary would love to watch this routine over and over again. Nigel loved this routine when he first saw it. He loves that Koine commits to everything she does. For Vanessa, this is one of her favorites. It was phenomenal.

A clip of Kiki’s parents are shown. They are his biggest fans and they are so proud of him. They love watching him dance. He performs a solo routine.

Lex and Gaby reminisce over Lex’s time on the show. She congratulates him for being in the top 4. When he first started he had no idea what he was doing and did a freestyle routine for the audition. They take the stage in white and perform a tap dance routine. Nigel loves how the routine started out simple before building up to something bigger. Vanessa loved it! Mary thought the tap dance was incredible.

Taylor is the last solo of the night. Her parents discuss how proud they are. They are cheering her on and wish her luck. Taylor performs her solo, a contemporary piece that is full of emotion.

Koine and Kiki are paired together to dance a piece that is centered on the complications of love. Koine had a difficult relationship so this is hard to tap into. Kiki talks about how he usually holds things in but since it is finale week he needs to let it out. They dance a slow contemporary piece.  Vanessa loved the choreography. Their piece broke her heart. It really affected her. Mary loved it. This piece has given them an edge in the competition. Nigel thinks Kiki is a great dancer and an actress. Kiki has really mastered contemporary.

Lex and Taylor managed to find great chemistry with the help of Mia Michaels. She wants them to dance a piece that is about a love that has them feeling like they have fallen in an abyss. They admit that this isn’t going to be difficult for them. They are in a relationship and they are in love! They take the stage and dance a piece amid a starry sky. The audience cheers for them. The judges stand. Mary is feeling all kinds of emotions. She is so happy to have Mia on the show. She is also proud to see how Lex and Taylor have fallen in love. Nigel loves what Mia creates. The dive kiss in this routine was beautiful. Their performance was just beautiful. Vanessa thinks this was beautiful.

The top four take the stage one last time to say goodnight.
