The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Abby Comes Between Scott and Sharon, Anger Turns To Passion

The Young and the Restless spoilers (Y&R) tease that Scott’s (Daniel Hall) assignment that involves Abby (Melissa Ordway) could take a romantic turn. Sharon and Scott’s budding love affair has already been established. So in this instance Scott won’t betray Sharon’s (Sharon Case) trust. Instead, Abby will come to throw herself at Mr. Grainger.

Scott agreed to write Victor’s (Eric Braeden) biography as payback for him having paid the $10 million ransom. That money transfer allowed Scott’s release from deranged lunatics who were holding him hostage in another part of the world where many some 1,000 years behind modern times.

The cowards who were referenced aren’t fighting for a just cause. Those drugged out sheep have bought into a violent ideology that some fail to fight properly in both real and fictional worlds. What’s not debatable is that Scott’s work as an undercover operative for the United States government was heroic.

Sharon recently learned about Scott’s actual backstory from the man himself. He wanted to be honest with a woman that he’s quickly grown to care about. The honesty Scott offered was surprising, based upon expected plot patterns. Sharon has often been treated badly by her significant others. But The Young and the Restless has written this character into much stronger territory after the Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) reveal storyline played out.

Viewers recall that Abby initially hated Ben (Sean Carrigan). Carrigan’s recurring status and his side job (as a professional comedian) career have allowed scant glimpses of Stitch in 2017. Fans of Stabby were sorry to see that couple end. Abby’s sudden realization that she never loved Ben wasn’t believable, but represented a write-out that allowed Ordway’s character to move in a different direction.

Abby isn’t hard up for dates and never has been. Yes, this scribe agrees that Ordway and her character are equally gorgeous. Scott can see that, as can anyone. But he also recognizes that she’s an entitled rich kid and treats her as such.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Abby Comes Between Scott and Sharon, Anger Turns To Passion

Y&R has wisely created a brain for Abby recently. That’s why her ascendancy to Newman Enterprises’ CEO’s office actually works. However, she’s still searching for love in lieu of Stabby having ended, or apparently never having been real. That’s why her feelings for Scott will grow.

Scott’s charge from Victor is to find out if Abby is holding a corporate secret, which she is. As the link to uncle Jack (Peter Bergman) looms, viewers will be watching for Abby to fall for the next man who she initially claimed to hate. That development won’t end Sharon and Scott, at least not right away. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Young and the Restless. Abby and Scott are closer in age. Don’t make Sharon a cougar too.

    • Donna Rusnak says:

Sharon is a old boot !! Really just get rid of her phony face don’t no anyone that gets away with all her shit that she pulls get real writers )!!!

    • Dale says:

Sharon is only 6 years older than Scott, (check their birthdates, so she is hardly a cougar.

      • Martha Gurka says:

Sharon cannot be only six years older than Scott if Noah is in his mid-twenties. Sharon is closer to Lauren and Phyllis’ age. Sharon is old enough to be Scott’s mother. Then how old would Lauren and Phyllis be? Why does Sharon have to be involved with anyone so quickly after Dylan left anyhow?

        • Dale says:

HI Martha, it was another poster who discovered the “birthdate” of the characters. I was only able to find Sharon’s date of 1974. I’m still trying to find Scott’s date. And as you know the children’s ages don’t matter because they are aged all the time and the parent’s ages stay the same.

    • Carolyn says:

I agree, don’t make them a couple, not the least bit Believable. Why do they always have to pair her with every new guy that comes on the show. Scott is much closer to Abby’s age and that’s the way they should go. Sharon could be a grandmother anytime and Scott hasn’t even had children yet. Please give us the fans a break and give us some decent storylines, we’ve hung in there long enough.

  2. Jacob Harris says:

I’m a never team Sharon. She is one of those characters who never really pays for her misdeeds. Plus, why would Sharon want to get mixed up with a guy who she knows loves undercover work and will in all likelihood get involved with an undercover assignment someday with what just happened with her and Dylan? Furthermore, I would think she wouldn’t want to get involved with anyone who owes Victor. Not even Scott who’s his own man.

  3. Margory Placha says:

Scott and Sharon seem to be more friends. No passion. Scott and Abby – hatred can turn to passion, but love? I think Victor would not approve.

  4. PassionQueen77 says:

Abby and Scott should share a friendship with eachother. They should continue to work together. If Victor finds out that Abby and Scott are in a relationship with eachother, he won’t be happy about it.

  5. PassionQueen77 says:

Besides Abby should hook up with Zach that she met at the coffee club. Abby going back to her old ways of stealing other people boyfriends is so wrong. If the writers let Abby fall in love with Scott then she is going to be another cougar like Phyllis lol.
