The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease a fan favorite will be coming back to Genoa City during the week of August 28. Keep reading for more details about Y&R’s comings and goings for the week ahead.
Beth Maitland is back on set and will reprise her role as Traci Abbott. Many Young and the Restless fans love her character, so it is good news that she is popping back into her home town. The spoilers didn’t reveal how long Traci will be sticking around. She probably is coming back to spend time with her mother, Dina (Marla Adams).
Maitland shared the news on Instagram, by posting a picture of herself in the dressing room at CBS studios. She captioned the image, “Bring it on!” Bath did not disclose her airdate, nor how long her stint will be.
Gregory Thompson plays AI on a new Y&R episode Thursday, August 31. In addition, Ryan Ashton will be playing Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) boyfriend, Zach. The Young and the Restless spoilers say it looks like Abby’s boyfriend will have a major storyline soon and could have ties to some pretty shady business dealings. Why can’t Abby ever find and keep a decent man?
Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher) returned to the CBS studio and should appear in the next few weeks. So far, Young and the Restless has not commented on his return. They haven’t given many details about his storyline, other than revealing that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) would not return at this time. However, Y&R has not ruled out bringing her back in the future.
As for Rikaart, he has been careful to be tight-lipped about his return. He has given no details about his first airdate, not his storyline. More details should surface in the few days as it gets closer to his airdate.
It looks some exciting fan-favorites are on their way back to Young and the Restless. Hopefully, they will decide to stick around for a while and give us a break from some of the tiring storylines.
