The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 17, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will share another kiss. They’re slowly becoming more comfortable with the idea of a romance. Chelsea has been hesitant to commit to full-fledged dating, but it looks like she’s starting to come around.
Nick is definitely interested in pursuing a relationship with Chelsea. He realizes they need to take their time with this. Nick just wants to enjoy Chelsea’s company and see where it leads. However, there’s someone who could spoil their plans. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will spot Chelsea and Nick during their next make-out session.
Faith likes Chelsea well enough, but things are different now that Dylan (Steve Burton) is gone. We all know what happens when two divorced soap parents become single again. Their child usually decides to craft his or her own version of The Parent Trap. Sharon (Sharon Case) is hurting and Faith feels certain that Nick can ease her pain.
Faith spoiled Nick and Chelsea’s plans recently. Perhaps she’ll try other sabotage efforts as this plot moves forward. Faith may decide to do whatever she can to push Nick and Sharon back together. This scheme may not work initially, but there’s a good chance a “Shick” reunion is coming eventually.
Meanwhile, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will remain concerned about job security. Victor (Eric Braeden) is grooming Abby to take over Newman Enterprises one day. Abby is thrilled to be learning from the best, but she’s worried that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) might swoop in and steal her position.
Friday’s Y&R preview video shows Victoria saying, “You can rest well knowing that I won’t be coming after your job at Newman… or will I?” Victoria is probably just messing with Abby a little. She’s pretty busy with Brash and Sassy at the moment. The last thing Victoria needs is a fierce battle with her sister.
Nevertheless, Victoria could change her mind down the road. Abby will have to stay on guard. Elsewhere, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Colin (Tristan Rogers) will face another round of conflict. Colin will insist that Billy needs to get out of his way. He’s determined to fix his relationship with Jill (Jess Walton).
Billy will argue that the marriage is over, but Colin will refuse to give up. The Young and the Restless fans can expect Colin to do some serious groveling soon.
