The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update or Monday, July 27, indicates that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will have concerns about Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) sinister side resurfacing.
Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) decision to postpone some news will also have major consequences, so some drama is about to erupt in Genoa City.
At Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) place, he’ll investigate Chancellor’s history and hope he can find some clue about what Jill Abbott (Lauren Koslow) is hiding, but he’ll realize it’s going to require a deeper dive for information.
At the coffeehouse, Sally will call Billy and let him know she’s got something to share with him, but she won’t want to tell him over the phone.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will talk to Sally about their Newman Media deal and offer tips on how to approach this tricky situation with Billy.
At the Newman ranch, Adam and Chelsea will act insulted when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are suspicious over the “coup” they supposedly made happen.
Victoria won’t get why Sally and Audra would suddenly cave in without getting something in return, but Chelsea will act like she helped Adam convince them it was a losing battle.
Adam will try to draw attention away from the deal by acting like he’s riled up over Victoria getting the CEO seat over him.
Chelsea will privately question Adam about whether he really feels that way and wonder if he might make a play for the Newman empire.
Adam will think it sounds like Chelsea’s asking if “Spider” is coming back to seize control of Newman Enterprises, but he’ll promise that working with her and raising Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is all he wants.
That said, Adam will have second thoughts about folding Newman Media back into Newman overall and wish they’d kept it for themselves.
Once Victoria decides to speak with Sally and get her side of the story, she’ll end up at Billy’s place and find him there alone.
Billy will have to hide his surprise when Victoria mentions Sally and Audra agreeing to give back Newman Media.
Billy will claim he already knew about Adam and Chelsea convincing Sally as well as Audra that it was the right move.
Sally will walk in and realize Victoria beat her to telling Billy about the Newman Media surrender.
After Sally corroborates Adam and Chelsea’s version of events, Victoria will head out.
Sally will scramble to explain, but Billy will be upset over having to hear about the Newman Media situation through Victoria.
Billy will also declare that he’s going to get Newman Media back, but Sally will pump the brakes and raise his suspicions about what else is going on.
That’ll leave Victoria debating whether to risk telling Billy about the secret payment since he could spread the word and blow things up.
Back at the ranch, Victor will mention the incident with the mirror, so Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will realize the staff told him.
Nikki will admit it wasn’t an accident and will give Victoria an attitude when she comes home trying to support her.
Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Nikki will stumble and nearly fall until Victor catches her.
It’ll be obvious that Nikki’s struggling to adjust to living without her sight.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will hold Nikki and try to comfort her, but this whole ordeal will continue to take a toll!
