The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, May 18, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will have a shocking proposal for Nick (Joshua Morrow). After Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) digs for information on Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Victor will determine that something needs to be done. He’ll urge Nick to help him out with a simple request.
Of course, Nick won’t think it’s all that easy. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will ask Nick to keep tabs on Chelsea. He’ll hope that Nick can figure out how much Chelsea learns in her Chloe pursuit. Nick will ask Victor if he’s really supposed to spy on his own girlfriend and report back. He’ll seem appalled by the suggestion.
Nevertheless, this is probably a good idea. If they’re going to keep Victor’s involvement with Chloe a secret, it’s best to watch over Chelsea. They should be in the loop on what she’s aware of. Stick with Y&R to see what Nick decides to do.
Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will move forward with a sneaky plan. Y&R fans know that Cane has a huge problem with Billy (Jason Thompson). He’s been looking for a way to bring Billy down and now he believes he’s finally found it.
In Wednesday’s episode, Cane realizes Billy was caught joking on camera. Some hockey players are involved in the commercial shoot, so they were kidding around with Billy about placing bets on the game. Cane later orders the videographer to edit the footage so he can gain the upper hand.
On Thursday, Cane’s scheme will pay off. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will interview Lily (Christel Khalil) as part of their campaign. It appears Lily will give Billy credit for scoring the hockey deal. Hilary will note that they should hear what the man himself has to say.
When they cut to the clip, it’ll be Cane’s edited footage. Billy will flash a smile and suggest that they could always make it interesting. One of the hockey players will pipe up that Billy should put him down for $10 grand. It was all a big gag, but it’ll seem like Billy was actually taking bets.
Next week, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will have to do major damage control. When will Cane’s deception come to light? Will Billy retaliate? We’ll give you updates as other news comes in.
