The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, May 17, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will gripe when Billy (Jason Thompson) is late for the commercial shoot. He’ll insist that he’s stuck doing all the work. It’s clear that Cane’s anger toward Billy is growing stronger.
Meanwhile, Billy will barely manage to pry himself away from Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). He’ll suggest that it’s best for her to avoid Victoria (Amelia Heinle). The Newman wouldn’t be happy about Phyllis joining this business trip. Once Billy meets up with Victoria, she’ll want to discuss their family vacation. An uncomfortable Billy will think they should just worry about the commercial for now.
Later, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will find Phyllis getting some sun on the rooftop. She’ll assure Phyllis that her secret is safe. Hilary has more important things to do than rat Phyllis out. When she spots Julie Chen, Hilary will introduce herself and ask if she can interview her. Julie won’t be interested, but Hilary will finally pester her into it.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that in Genoa City, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will score a major interview as well. Dina (Marla Adams) will agree to sit down with Mariah for a big announcement. Devon (Bryton James) will help her out since he’s purchasing Mergeron Enterprises. During the interview, Dina will admit that she’s hoping to focus on her family.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) will argue about whether Dina deserves a chance to make amends. Jack won’t think it would hurt to hear their mother out. Ashley, on the other hand, will refuse to let Dina worm her way back into their lives. It sounds like Dina has some work to do if she wants to be part of the Abbott clan again. Stick with Y&R to see if they can all come together.
Back in Los Angeles, Cane will order the videographer to do something sneaky. Some behind-the-scenes footage will make Billy look awfully shady. He’ll joke around with some hockey players about placing large bets on their next game. Cane will make sure his rival seems sleazy in this video. The footage is going to spell trouble later this week after Cane does some creative editing.
That’s not the only problem Billy’s going to encounter. Since Phyllis decided to sneak around the hotel, and Y&R spoilers say she should be caught by Victoria soon.
