The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 2, tease that Lily (Christel Khalil) will face some shocking revelations. She’ll blast Cane (Daniel Goddard) when she discovers he’s been lying to her again. Billy (Jason Thompson) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will give Lily updates on what they learned from Jesse (Max Adler). Once Lily knows the truth, she’ll immediately throw Cane out.
Meanwhile, Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) will get some surprising news from Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson). When Charlie speaks to Juliet (Laur Allen) at Crimson Lights, the other teens will fill him in on who she is. Charlie, Mattie and Reed will all gripe about the trouble Juliet caused. She’ll offer an apology for any pain they’re feeling.
Once Mattie and Charlie get back to the house, they’ll realize Cane is leaving. Their parents will explain that it’s what’s best for all of them. Cane will assure Lily of his love as he exits. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane will begin to weep as he stands outside his family’s home.
Back at the coffeehouse, Sharon (Sharon Case) will convince Paul (Doug Davidson) to help her find Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) tonight. It turns out Paul will pitch in with Sharon’s romance as well. He’ll talk to Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) about dialing down her disapproval.
Lauren will agree to give Sharon a chance to prove herself. After Sharon hands over some brownies, Lauren will invite her to dinner. Scott (Daniel Hall) and Sharon will feel like this is progress. They’ll hope to show Lauren that their connection is the real deal.
Lauren will also listen to Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) complaints in Wednesday’s Young and the Restless episode. Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will be irritated by the amount of overtime Billy is putting in. She’ll feel like he’s neglecting their relationship. To make matters worse, Billy spends all those hours with his ex.
Phyllis certainly won’t want Victoria to get the upper hand. She’ll urge Billy to let work take a backseat for a while, but he’ll insist that he can’t. Billy will maintain that Brash and Sassy has to be his focus right now.
Elsewhere, Victoria will lean on Abby (Melissa Ordway) for support. She’ll admit that her company has taken some serious hits. Abby will offer Victoria a hug and a pep talk. She’ll definitely be worried about her sister’s state of mind.
