The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 20, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Devon (Bryton James) will share some warm moments. She’ll gush about Sam as she drops off some donations for the toy drive. Devon will reflect on their friendship and they’ll nearly kiss under the mistletoe. Hilary will leave without a smooch, but Sharon (Sharon Case) will observe their bond.
Later, Hilary will visit Cane (Daniel Goddard) with some gifts for the baby. Cane will open them and promise that when Sam’s older, he’ll be told the presents came from their friend. Lily (Christel Khalil) will show up just as Cane steps out of the room. Since Cane needs to take care of something, Hilary will answer the door and face suspicions from her rival.
Lily will wonder why Hilary is suddenly so chummy with Cane. Hilary will suggest that Cane is her pal and nothing more. She’ll contend that she has no ulterior motive. Hilary will urge Lily to accept the fact that she wants to repair her marriage. Unfortunately, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will shut down that idea and stomp off.
Once Cane hears what happened, he’ll assure Hilary that he doesn’t blame her for anything. His problems are his own fault. Cane will believe it’s time to let go of Lily and head down a new path. Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will make a pact to ignore the issues outside their relationship. They won’t allow Abbott family chaos to interfere with their romance.
Afterward, Billy will talk to Ashley (Eileen Davidson) about what’s next. She’ll admit that she doesn’t want Jack (Peter Bergman) to think she’s punishing him for taking care of Dina (Marla Adams). Billy will believe Ashley’s just doing what’s best for Jabot.
Across town, Phyllis will give Jack a pep talk. She’ll think Ashley’s petty for going after the Jabot throne like this. Y&R spoilers say Jack will be glad that Phyllis is still on his side. When Jack meets up with Ashley, she’ll maintain that she intends to take over as CEO permanently.
At the ranch, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will feel like she’s been backed into a corner. She’ll agree to move back in the guestroom and resume the marriage arrangement. Victor will offer a satisfied smile as Nikki caves in. They’ll settle on separate vacations and plenty of contributions to Nikki’s favorite charities.
Victor will be curious why Nikki stole so much money, so she’ll make a confession. It turns out Nikki was the anonymous park buyer. Victor and Nikki are certainly full of surprises. They make life difficult for each other on a daily basis, but that’s just the way it is!
