Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp (Lucas Adams) will make a big admission to Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan). He’ll admit that he’s the one who set up Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) for starting the fire at the cabin. Tripp will tell Claire how he lifted Ben’s fingerprint from the apartment and placed it on the can of accelerant, then left the can at the crime scene for Hope (Kristian Alfonso) to find.
Claire will be stunned by Tripp’s confession, and she’ll want some answers. Tripp will explain that he thought that he was helping further the cause of justice. Tripp truly believes that Ben set the fire, so in Tripp’s mind he was simply framing a guilty man.
Claire won’t be too keen on what Tripp did, though. Hope’s her grandma, and she knows that Hope won’t give up until she finds out who framed Ben. But Claire may be torn. On the one hand, if Tripp’s caught, then he and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) will probably break up, which would be good for Claire. On the other hand, Claire really cares for Tripp, so she won’t want to see him get into legal trouble.
So, Claire will decide to help Tripp. It looks like there may be some remaining evidence that Tripp has that will need to be disposed of. Days spoilers say that Claire will help Tripp cover up his crime. Will she get rid of incriminating evidence for him, or perhaps lie to her grandma Hope and Rafe (Galen Gering) about what she knows?
Things are bound to get complicated, especially since Hope and Rafe seem to be close to determining that it wasn’t Ben who planted the evidence against himself. Hope and Rafe will soon discover that it’s Tripp who matches the description of the young man who purchased the can of accelerant.
Tripp will soon be interrogated, and where will that leave Claire? Will Tripp tell Hope and Rafe that Claire helped him dispose of evidence? Claire could wind up in a lot of trouble herself.
