Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, August 2, tease that Eric (Greg Vaughan) will distract Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) with a proposal. She just revealed that she has something important to tell him, but he has something important to tell her, too. Jennifer will delay her confession as she sits down to dinner with Eric. He’ll wax poetic about his great love for Jen and the life he wants to share.
After Eric gets down on one knee, he’ll ask Jennifer to marry him and hope she says yes. However, Jennifer’s guilt will get in the way. She’ll urge Eric to get up and sit back in his seat. Jen will think they have a lot to talk about before they can take this step. Of course, she’ll mean the big secret she’s keeping about Nicole (Arianne Zucker).
Days spoilers state that Jennifer’s rejection will sting, so Eric will walk right out of Doug’s Place. He’ll be too hurt to continue their conversation. Later, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) will spot Jennifer and try to change her mind about coming clean. She’ll think Jen’s an idiot if she turns down this hunk who adores her.
DOOL viewers can expect Jennifer to accept Eric’s proposal later, so she’ll officially commit to lying. She may tell herself she’s protecting Eric’s heart, but this is really about protecting her own. Jennifer will hope she can preserve their relationship and their bright future together.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi (Camila Banus) will make Kate (Lauren Koslow) an offer. She’ll point out that they both have a reason to take down Stefan (Tyler Christopher). Gabi will suggest that they should team up and make their mutual mission easier. She’ll explain her plan and encourage Kate to become a strong ally.
Meanwhile, Chad (Billy Flynn) will tell Abigail (Marci Miller) where he stands. He’s still struggling over the paternity revelation, but he’ll want to make this work for their family’s sake. Abigail will be thrilled to know Chad’s willing to try, but “Chabby” fans shouldn’t get too excited. He’ll do an about-face and move out of the house on next week’s new Days episodes, August 6-10.
