General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) battle will rev up. Anna (Finola Hughes) remains a threat, so Peter wants rid of her as soon as possible. When Valentin continues to reject that idea, Peter will suggest that he can handle it alone. He thinks Valentin’s weakness for Anna is clouding his judgment and he’s probably right.
Peter will work on a plan to corner Anna, but he’s actually got one in the works right now. He just doesn’t know it yet! Peter made plans to meet his mother through those Heinrik emails. He has no clue that Anna is the woman who will be waiting for him.
However, some unexpected Nurses Ball bombshells could delay their meeting. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) will go into labor, so Peter may bail on the mama drama to help her. That’ll give GH more time to let some shockers slip. At some point, Lulu (Emme Rylan) will stun Peter with some huge news.
Of course, it won’t seem like a big deal to Lulu. She’ll simply fill Peter in on Anna’s help with the Heinrik emails. The wheels will start turning for Peter and he’ll ultimately realize Anna sent them. Jason (Steve Burton) warned Anna that Heinrik might learn about her background and assume this is a trap. There’s a good chance Jason’s prediction will come true.
Peter may believe this is some twisted spy game that’s meant to incriminate him. He might suspect that Anna’s going to take him down. Perhaps Peter will decide to play along and launch a sneak attack because he still won’t believe Anna is his mom. Anna and Peter will indeed have a major showdown soon. They’ll meet up for a faceoff on the pier and General Hospital spoilers say it could turn deadly!
Fortunately, down-the-road info indicates that Peter and Anna will still be around. That means they’ll survive this initial battle. It’s possible Peter will bring backup or Valentin will send in reinforcements for Anna – don’t be surprised if Robert (Tristan Rogers) or Jason are somehow involved. Some henchmen could get caught in the crossfire and suffer a grim fate.
Then again, the deadly part could come much later. General Hospital may want to let this first confrontation build into a full-blown war. There’s been buzz about Peter possibly being killed off, so this showdown could simply set the fatal events in motion. Peter could face lethal consequences for his actions eventually.
In the meantime, it should be fun to watch the pier chaos. Will Anna convince Peter that she’s truly his mother? Would that help or hurt given Peter’s bitter resentment over his childhood?
