General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Carly (Laura Wright) will go through a startling ordeal together. They were arguing at Ava’s (Maura West) gallery when the earthquake suddenly hit Port Charles. That could lead to some vulnerable moments and possibly some shifting opinions.
Carly and Nelle are clearly never going to be besties. They’re never even going to like each other. The best anyone can hope for is tolerance. If these two could learn to be in the same room together without arguing, that’d be major progress. Since Carly’s the one who typically instigates the conflict, it’ll be up to her to back off.
GH fans know Nelle has been plotting behind Carly’s back. She’s playing mind games in hopes of driving Carly off the deep end. Nelle apparently wants Carly to believe Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) back from the dead. Carly’s always taking jabs about Nelle being crazy, so this is the pregnant schemer’s chance at revenge. If everything goes according to plan, it could also keep Carly away from the baby.
However, this earthquake could present an interesting opportunity. General Hospital spoilers say that Nelle will have a medical scare thanks to the baby. Carly will see Nelle get emotional during this crisis. She might sense that Nelle truly cares about her unborn child.
General Hospital spoilers say a Corinthos family meeting is coming up, so it’s possible Carly will surrender. She might agree to stop giving Nelle such a hard time about every single thing. Nelle could respond with gratitude in that case, but trust issues would linger. Can Nelle ever really trust that Carly won’t take her kid? No way!
Nevertheless, GH buzz says Nelle will use Carly’s new outlook as an advantage. She could pretend to be on board with the peace between them. Carly could drop her guard and make herself even more susceptible to Nelle’s deception. It’ll be far easier for Nelle to dupe everyone if she reaches an understanding with Carly. She can feign innocence and get away with her gaslighting plot – at least for a while.
Of course, all sneaky plans must come to light eventually. Once Nelle goes through with her plot, she’ll inevitably get burned.
