General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a return could cause extra complications for Nelle (Chloe Lanier). GH fans can expect Celesta DeAstis to get back in the mix as Nurse Francesca. She hit it off with Michael (Chad Duell) a while back, but Nelle quickly got in the way. It didn’t take long for Nelle to flaunt her pregnancy and mark her territory.
That was a little more drama than Francesca was prepared for. She wouldn’t agree to a second date, but she urged Michael to keep her number. That gave him hope that things could turn around one day. Michael just has to get a grip on Nelle first!
Thanks to all the chaos surrounding Carly (Laura Wright), Michael hasn’t had time to think about romance. He’s just focused on clearing his mom’s name and bringing Nelle down. However, the situation could shift when he runs into Francesca. Will they feel a familiar spark? General Hospital spoilers say that’s a good possibility.
Francesca might admit that she’s been thinking about Michael. She could suggest that she just can’t seem to shake him. Francesca may wonder if it was a mistake to ignore their connection, but the timing isn’t great. Michael still has his hands full with Nelle, so he could have some reservations. He might be hesitant to drag Francesca into this.
However, Michael’s current strategy isn’t working out yet. He’s doing his best to play Nelle, but his frustration is starting to creep through. It’s helpful to have Nelle’s guard down a bit, but it could also be helpful to rattle her. Moving on with Francesca would leave Nelle in a fuming panic, which would inevitably lead to mistakes.
This could be exactly what Michael needs to catch Nelle scheming. He has to establish a pattern of lies and plots, so this is a fantastic opportunity to make that happen. Of course, Michael would be using Francesca to some degree. To justify it, he might tell himself that he has to do whatever it takes for Carly’s sake. We’ve seen a more daring Michael lately, so we can’t rule out a Francesca plan.
Plus, Michael genuinely likes this girl. It’s not total manipulation if he really wants a romance. Will Nelle make Francesca a target and get caught?
