General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that an ABC soap star is facing a crushing loss. James Patrick Stuart (Valentin) shared some sad news with GH fans on social media. He explained that a good friend of his just died. Stuart was devastated over the sudden blow, but he wanted to honor his pal in some way. He’s still processing all this, so it was undoubtedly tough to speak about such a fresh wound.
Nevertheless, Stuart managed to come up with some wonderful words of remembrance. He started with a touching tribute on his Instagram account. Stuart posted a picture of Glenn Roven, a man he called a genius and a dear friend for many years. “He taught me to love opera and poetry and I have performed in many of his shows,” Stuart said.
Stuart also recalled a heartwarming story of Roven’s selflessness. “When I asked him to write the cello solo for my cover of ‘Book of Love,’ he was in the middle of the final rehearsal of his most recent symphony. He wrote it anyway. I loved him. He passed away suddenly today… and I don’t know what to do.”
It sounds like Roven was a fine friend and a true artist. Stuart continued to celebrate Roven’s life on Twitter. He can’t believe his good buddy’s gone, so he wanted to talk about this on multiple platforms. Stuart insisted that Rover “wrote so much brilliant music.” He was certainly in awe of Roven’s talent.
Stuart wrapped things up on a somber note. He tweeted, “I am devastated as is everyone who knew him. He had so much more to do. No words…” Plenty of General Hospital viewers voiced their support for Stuart in the replies. Everybody just wanted to express sympathy and let Stuart know he had people in his corner. It’s difficult to lose someone you care about, especially when it’s sudden.
As for what’s next on GH, General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will keep fighting for Nina (Michelle Stafford). He’ll realize he needs to step it up if he’s going to meet his deadline, so expect some bold moves. We’ll give you updates as other details emerge.
