General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Drew’s (Billy Miller) marriage will face some bumps in the road. The honeymoon will soon be over for these newlyweds! Drew undoubtedly feels a little more confident in his romance now. Sam made a commitment to him, so Drew probably believes she officially put Jason (Steve Burton) behind her.
Of course, that’s far from the case. Sam said some sweet vows to Drew at their wedding and she meant every word. However, that doesn’t mean she can just erase her intense feelings for Jason. Sam sees the pain in Jason’s eyes every time they’re together. He hasn’t five years to let go. For Jason, it felt like mere months had passed. He still isn’t over the crushing blow of watching Sam move on.
Nevertheless, Jason is doing his best to step aside and allow Sam to make her own choices. He doesn’t want to be selfish and beg her to come back to him. Putting Sam in that position just wouldn’t be in Jason’s nature. He prefers to bottle up his emotions and attempt to cope on his own. Jason would rather take all the pain than force Sam to endure more of it.
Things look grim now that Drew and Sam are married, but Carly (Laura Wright) won’t think this love triangle’s over. General Hospital spoilers say she’ll give Jason a pep talk on February 5. Carly will insist that there’s still hope for Jason and Sam’s future. She won’t want Jason to throw in the towel just yet.
Perhaps Jason should simply be patient. Carly will argue that Sam knows who she wants deep down. She’ll feel like Sam will find a way to sabotage her relationship for that very reason. Carly may think Sam will intentionally make waves so she can give herself an easy out to be with Jason.
Whether Carly’s right or not, GH fans can definitely expect major drama for Sam and Drew. General Hospital spoilers say Sam will once again have to look inside her heart. She’ll be pulled in Jason’s direction, so she may be unable to fight her desires.
