General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that trouble could be brewing for Sonny (Maurice Benard). He’s worried that something long dead and buried could come back to haunt him. Mike (Max Gail) recently mentioned that he knew what happened. He brought up the field in Croton and Sonny nearly went as white as a ghost.
There actually are “fields in Croton” near Croton-On-Hudson, New York, and Port Charles is in the state of New York. That seems to be the area where this incident took place. Sonny decided to open up to Jason (Steve Burton) about how bizarre all of this is. He insisted that Mike knows something he shouldn’t.
Sonny spewed out a lot of information, so let’s recap what we know. When Sonny was starting out in the business, he was called about an untrustworthy guy who had been a problem. Sonny arrived to find the body wrapped in a shower curtain and was ordered to grab his shovel. He drove the corpse to Croton and buried it in the field.
The weird part is that Mike was nowhere near that field at the time. Sonny can’t quite figure this mess out, so General Hospital spoilers say this could be a real issue. Where did Mike get this info and who’s he been talking to? Sonny’s concerned that Mike may have spilled something without even realizing it!
If Mike hasn’t blabbed already, he probably will. GH fans know he’s a big talker. On good days, Mike tends to ramble about fond memories of the past. On bad ones, he remembers things incorrectly and rambles about those memories, too.
Mike seemed like he needed to clear his conscience when he first told Michael about the field in Croton. What if he says more next time? Mike could easily leak too much to the wrong person. Unfortunately, there’s a new detective in town who seems eager to take Sonny down. Chase (Josh Swickward) got off on the wrong foot with the Corinthos family, but he made it clear that he wouldn’t be intimidated.
To make matters worse, Mike and Chase patched things up somewhat during the earthquake aftermath. Trust could be building between these two and that’s not ideal for Sonny. It sounds like he’ll have a serious threat on his hands!
General Hospital spoilers say Chase will rattle Sonny a bit on April 19, so this could be the start of major drama leading into May Sweeps. We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
