The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Bill (Don Diamont) will continue striking at whatever openings he sees. His obsessive attempt to claim Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as his next trophy wife will continue almost unabated this spring. As of the moment, Bill is using Wyatt (Darin Brooks) to manipulate both Liam (Scott Clifton) and his daughter-in-law.
Telling Wyatt that Steffy just couldn’t get enough of him was an outright lie. Yet Bill had no problem looking straight into his son’s eyes as he spit out that falsehood. Wyatt was disgusted, but not overly surprised.
Before Bill left on his business trip he advised Steffy to sign the annulment papers Liam had given her. It was more of a threat than a suggestion. He also told his love interest that she owed him a favor for having allowed her mother, Taylor (Hunter Tylo), to have gotten away with having shot him.
Steffy was swayed not only by those circumstances, but also by Liam’s refusal to return to the cliff house. Clifton’s character is partially responsible for giving his father the aforementioned gap to move in on his wife.
Liam’s infatuation with Hope (Annika Noelle) is annoying to Steam fans. If one isn’t a Steam detractor and tries to see all involved characters in a balanced fashion, Liam’s choice does make sense. Hope is a former love, she’s fully supportive, and doesn’t evoke thoughts of Bill as Steffy does due to her tragic cheating mistake.
Wyatt was conned into believing Bill’s statement about Steffy’s lust was true because of a phone call his dad received. Liam’s wife didn’t know Bill put his phone on speaker when she thanked him for keeping their secret. Wyatt understandably took that to mean that his dad and Steffy were still fooling around behind Liam’s back, when in fact her reference regarded Bill not having calling the police on Taylor.
Speaking of Tylo’s character, Taylor had Bill pegged during her unexpected return to Los Angeles and subsequent reveal. She was overwrought because she knew that Bill had taken advantage of her daughter. Little did Steffy’s mother know that her prior golden gun target was going to use the shooting admission to leverage her daughter into pressing the annulment issue.
Bill senses that Liam wants to be with Hope. Why else would he be in regular contact with her and have agreed to move onto the property where she’s living? Bill is also calculating that Steffy will be open to his offer if she can be isolated.
