The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that even more casting cuts are in the works. On Instagram, Courtney Hope recently announced that she’s exiting the role of Sally. However, she’s not the only member of the Spectra crew who’s set to go. In fact, the whole gang will soon hit the road.
Patrika Darbo (Shirley), Alex Wyse (Saul) and Danube Hermosillo (Darlita) are also leaving B&B. It looks like Courtney Grosbeck will be exiting as Coco, too. As the departure news started to spread, several fans tweeted Darbo about how much they’d miss her.
One viewer replied to a tweet featuring a pic of Darbo and Wyse. He said, “Won’t be the same without yall on B&B, & the two Courtneys.” Darbo confirmed her departure as well as the others by replying, “Xo thank you.” On the bright side, this means Darbo’s available to reprise her role as Nancy on Days of Our Lives. Maybe she’ll eventually make her way back over to Salem.
Wyse also addressed his exit through an Instagram post. He’s sad to be leaving The Bold and the Beautiful behind, but he’s extremely grateful for the memories. “It was one hell of a year,” Wyse said. “Thanks to everyone who watched us…I got to film 66 episodes, work with incredible people, and be a part of the Bold Cinematic Universe (trying to get that to catch on.) Here’s to the next adventure!”
It sounds like Wyse is staying upbeat about the situation. This is just how it goes in the soap biz! The Spectra clan brought some fun to this fictional version of Los Angeles, but B&B’s ready for a change. The airtime for these characters has slowly dwindled over the past few months, so it’s no surprise that the show’s getting rid of them.
Will B&B choose to focus on remaining cast members or could some new debuts be coming up? Either way, fans are hoping for more excitement. Bill’s (Don Diamont) shooting saga has revved up some interest, so let’s hope they can build on that. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that major shockers are still to come.
