The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Friday, October 12, tease that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will reel from Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) news about witnessing Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill’s (Don Diamont) kiss. Steffy didn’t want to hurt her dad, but she felt that he had the right to know the truth about what Brooke and Bill were up to. As far as Steffy knows, the two are carrying on an affair under Ridge’s nose.
Of course, that’s not the case. What Steffy actually witnessed was Bill aggressively kissing Brooke, and she didn’t see Brooke pull back from the kiss a moment later. But now the damage is done, and Ridge knows about the kiss.
Ridge will probably want to make sure that Steffy really saw what she thinks she saw, but Steffy clearly saw a kiss, and she’ll let her dad know that. Ridge will be horrified by the news, as it really is his worst fear. He knows that Brooke has been sympathetic to Bill’s position in the custody case, but he had no idea that the two of them were meeting secretly, let alone getting intimate together.
Ridge will need to think about his next move. While there’s a side of him that would probably like to head straight to Spencer Publications and attack Bill, B&B spoilers say that he’ll decide to confront Brooke first. He’ll want to hear from Brooke whether what Steffy witnessed actually happened.
Meanwhile, on the new B&B episode on Friday, October 12, Quinn (Rena Sofer) will learn about Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) new position at Forrester. But Wyatt will become concerned when his mother’s reaction isn’t quite what he expected. So, exactly what will Quinn’s reaction be?
Quinn might find herself upset that Wyatt isn’t continuing on at Spencer Publications. While Quinn doesn’t like Bill and generally wants to protect Wyatt from Bill’s antics, she might view Spencer as Wyatt’s birthright and something he should definitely go back to. She might give Wyatt grief about turning his back on his legacy.
Or, Quinn could express concern about Wyatt working on a day-to-day basis with Sally (Courtney Hope). Quinn may have thought that Wyatt and Sally were just a fling that would eventually end, and she might not be too happy that their relationship is blossoming. Quinn might be unhappy that Wyatt and Sally are going to be spending even more time together going forward.
Whatever problem Quinn’s got with Wyatt’s new gig, it will have Wyatt quite concerned. And he’ll have to deal with her (and her concerns) on a day-to-day basis, too. It should make for an interesting workplace, with Wyatt, Quinn, and Sally together in the same space.
