The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) will continue to plan for their wedding day and their future together. Liam’s leaving the wedding plans up to Hope and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to figure out, but he’s had a lot to say about what he wants his future with Hope to look like, and it’s not all grounded in reality.
Now, it’s true that Liam is operating under some false information, thanks to Bill (Don Diamont). Bill used Wyatt (Darin Brooks) to pass on lies about Steffy (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood) to Liam, namely that Steffy was still involved with Bill. Liam was upset and signed the annulment papers, ending his marriage to Steffy.
One might think that, at this point, Liam would take a break from relationships for a while and perhaps reassess his judgment when it comes to romantic unions. But no. Almost immediately after signing the annulment papers, Liam decided that it was a good idea to propose marriage to Hope! That part wasn’t orchestrated by Bill; that poor judgment is on Liam.
And there’s more to suggest that Liam is not thinking clearly. He and Hope have been doing a lot of talking about how blissful and happy they are going to be as a married couple. Liam apparently thinks that Steffy is going to go away quietly. But Steffy isn’t a quitter and there’s every indication that she’s going to continue to fight for Liam and remind him about the bond they share with their unborn daughter.
And that brings us to Liam’s biggest delusion of all…that co-parenting with Steffy is going to go smoothly. Liam has been gushing about how great Hope is going to be with his daughter and that she will be a wonderful parental figure. He seems to be more focused on Hope as a mother to his child than Steffy! What will happen when Steffy wakes up and realizes that her daughter is going to be co-raised by the woman who took Liam from her? Could we be in store for a custody battle?
