The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that more baby drama is headed Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) way. EW recently reported that Robin Givens would be joining B&B’s cast for a three-episode arc. She’ll play Steffy’s obstetrician, Dr. Phillips. Viewers can expect this doc to pop up starting February 15, right in the middle of February sweeps 2018.
Fans of CW’s Riverdale might recognize Givens as Mayor Sierra McCoy. Givens also played Eudora on ABC’s Once Upon a Time, so she’ll definitely be a familiar face to some. As for Givens’ new B&B role, she should play a big part in Steffy’s crisis. Considering Steffy’s medical history and current problems with Liam (Scott Clifton), there’s no way The Bold and the Beautiful will go for an easy pregnancy.
Instead, B&B buzz says Steffy may encounter serious complications during February sweeps. She may be terrified of losing what could be her last shot at a child. Steffy had a miscarriage in the past and she had trouble conceiving this time around. She may worry that she won’t be able to carry this baby to full-term.

Dr. Phillips might encourage Steffy to take it easy and avoid stress. That’s sure to be difficult when Liam’s so furious. However, some good could come out of all this. Liam may begin to soften thanks to Steffy’s ordeal. He could see that hating Steffy isn’t the ideal situation for this child.
Will Liam decide to forgive Steffy after all? It may not happen right away, but this could be an important first step. The Bold and the Beautiful might establish some issues so Steffy can deliver early down the road. Soap pregnancies are always sped up anyway.
Liam and Steffy could bond over a preemie when the time comes. That sounds like a surefire way to put them back together. Then again, perhaps Liam will be truly affected by Steffy’s dilemma and reunite with her sooner than anticipated. Regardless, Liam doesn’t seem through with Steffy just yet.
