The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that some shockers are looming on the CBS soap. Y&R has some big bombs to drop this fall, so they’re already gearing up for these major revelations. The suspense will build until some fall explosions finally hit Genoa City. Let’s consider five secrets and how they’ll shake things up.
1. Phyllis and Nick’s night of passion exposed
Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) thought they could put their little tryst behind them, but they didn’t count on Summer (Hunter King) making a mess of things. Despite the hush money, she’ll remain a threat. Phyllis’ war with Summer isn’t doing her any favors!
However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say a new threat will emerge as well. This hookup bombshell should bring Nick and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) relationship to a grinding halt. The “Shick” wedding seems like an excellent time for that, so stay tuned for serious drama.
2. Tessa gets busted
What’s up with Tessa? Y&R isn’t playing her as a scheming villain, but she’s not exactly on the up and up either. She claims she needs 20 grand to pay off the people who helped Crystal (Morgan Obenreder), but there has to be more to the story. As Sharon (Sharon Case) and Devon’s (Bryton James) suspicions rev up, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will wonder if she’s been too trusting.
Still, The Young and the Restless had an easy exit opportunity when Tessa left town. It’s tough to believe they brought her back just to prove she’s a con artist. Tessa tends to fib for one of two reasons: to protect herself or someone else. It could be a combination in this case. Regardless, Tessa’s backing herself into a corner. When the truth comes out, it could put her romance with Mariah in jeopardy.
3. Stunning Rey revelations
Rey’s managed to stir up some suspicions among the cover-up crew, but they’ll have to keep working to figure him out. It’s possible Rey’s been recruited by Paul (Doug Davidson) or someone else who has an interest in solving this case. The Young and the Restless spoilers say we’ll also learn more about Rey’s past. Expect some shocking stories involving his wife as well as Arturo (Jason Canela).
4. Jack’s father discovered
This storyline’s been cooking for a while now, but we’re finally getting somewhere. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some new hints will leave Jack in horror. He’ll face a harsh reality that’s not at all what he had in mind. Jack’s father will be discovered, so it sounds like he won’t approve of the man at the end of this hunt. Will he turn out to be related to Victor (Eric Braeden) or another dark force?
5. News of J.T.’s death spreads
Y&R may not deliver a full explosion here, but they should provide some mini ones. At the moment, Sharon and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are the weak links in the girls’ night gang. As Sharon’s wedding draws near, she’ll consider blabbing to Nick about J.T (Thad Luckinbill). As for Victoria, she may not be able to cope under the pressure. Nate (Brooks Darnell) could get quite a shock soon enough!
