The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) newfound happiness could come to a screeching halt. Now that Nick (Joshua Morrow) knows about Nikki’s fling with Arturo (Jason Canela), it could make things weird between the lovers. Arturo and Nikki are an odd duo as it is, so adding another obstacle isn’t a great idea.
Of course, Victor (Eric Braeden) could be the real problem. He’s not going to be pleased when he inevitably hears about Nikki and Arturo’s hookups. Although Nikki knew this wasn’t going to turn into a long-term thing, parting ways with Arturo could still hit her hard. Everyone keeps mentioning how Nikki’s glowing and finally looks content. Little do they know Arturo’s the reason why!
Nikki could be forced to settle back into the same old routine with her controlling husband. They had an arrangement, so she’ll be miffed that Nick and Victor wrecked everything for her. To make matters worse, Arturo’s new love interest may sting a bit. He could trade in the Newman matriarch for a sizzling younger model.
Y&R fans noticed the way Abby (Melissa Ordway) looked at Arturo on a recent episode. She clearly liked what she saw. The Young and the Restless could pair them up to cause even more drama. Arturo and Abby’s romance might make some waves after what’s been playing out with Nikki.
Even if Abby and Arturo also go for a “no strings attached” kind of relationship, Nikki could find herself feeling jealous. Likewise, Nick may think Arturo’s causing unnecessary pain. He could argue that Arturo’s a player who’s plowing through the Newman family women like their conquests. Nick might fire Arturo and urge him to get out of Genoa City.
It’d probably be for the best! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will have a lot on her plate at Newman in the coming weeks. Nikki will also have to tackle a few disasters. J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbell) anger is out of control, so Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will need Nikki’s support soon. Victor will also be the victim of a brutal assault down the road. Nikki’s in for a rough time with all that.
In other words, the Newmans will be pretty busy. Before they get in crisis mode, will Arturo and Abby heat things up? Do you think they’d make a good pairing?
