The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will try to make sense of his past. He’s been struggling ever since he found out he’s not John’s (Jerry Douglas) biological son. Jack just doesn’t know who he is if he’s not an Abbott. His whole world was built around his old identity, so this life-changing revelation’s been tough to accept.
However, Jack seems to be working his way through the stages of grief. Losing his blood tie to John was a major blow. It was almost as bad as a death in the family. Jack was in denial at first, but that quickly turned to anger. He even did some bargaining with that second DNA test. It seemed like Jack thought he could somehow change his fate if he didn’t open it.
Jack sank into sorrow and returned to rage once again. His emotions are all over the place, but he’ll have to settle down eventually. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Jack will ultimately reach a place of acceptance. He’ll realize that he can’t keep pointing the finger and lashing out at his family members. Jack has to learn how to move on with his life and head down a new path.
Of course, looking to the future means looking to the past in this case. If he wants true peace, Jack needs to dig deep for info about his history. He can’t live with all his unanswered questions. That would just leave Jack in feeling like he doesn’t belong anywhere.
Y&R viewers can expect Jack to start a new journey soon. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Jack will seek the truth about his real father and his roots. He’ll want to know where he came from and potentially get to know this mystery man.
There’s no guarantee that Jack’s bio dad is still alive, but he at least needs to seek him out. Jack also can’t rule out the idea that this guy’s trash. It would hurt to find out all kinds of horrible secrets, but it might be better than not knowing anything at all.
Perhaps Jack will get lucky and find out his old man’s not so bad. There’s even a chance this journey of self-discovery will lead him back to John. On soaps, mistakes and switches are common with DNA test results. We certainly can’t rely on Dina’s memory either.
Regardless, it sounds like Jack’s quest will make him stronger. The Young and the Restless fans will be anxious to learn who Jack’s biological father is and see the drama that follows.
