The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) will get a big break in the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) case. As luck would have it, his brother will be the one who comes through for him. Thanks to Arturo’s (Jason Canela) pipe repair, he’ll be in the park to discover J.T.’s watch. The engraving will lead Rey down a shocking path and it just might bring disaster for the cover-up crew.
“Love Mac” will be inscribed on the back of this watch, so Rey will realize he should have a chat with the woman behind it. This watch was obviously a gift from Mackenzie aka “Mac” (Kelly Kruger) to J.T. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will have some questions for J.T.’s ex. He’ll hope Mac can fill in the blanks and help him move this process along.
Rey will also test the burial site’s soil and find DNA evidence. Someone moved the body, but they couldn’t eliminate all traces of J.T. That means this is about to become a murder investigation. Mac should be fired up once Rey holds a press conference and spreads the news.
J.T. was Daddy to Mac’s kids, so she’s going to want answers for their sake. They’ll inevitably want the truth when they’re older. Plus, Y&R fans know Mac loved J.T. once upon a time. He became an abusive monster in the end, but that can’t erase years of good memories. Bottom line, Mac will need closure and there are only a few people who can provide it.
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Sharon (Sharon Case) have been worried about Rey, but Mac’s threat could soon be even worse. She was already suspicious during her last trip to town. Once this is officially declared a murder, Mac should be even more convinced that Victoria’s hiding something.
Will one of the girls’ night gang members crack under the pressure? Could Rey use Mac as a secret weapon or will she do her own thing? Either way, Rey would welcome help in breaking the core four. He’ll remain eager to solve the mystery and get justice, but the whole story just might change his perspective.
