The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will make another reunion attempt. He keeps hoping that if he tries the right approach or lets Sharon (Sharon Case) cool down long enough, he’ll be able to fix what’s broken. Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen.
Sharon’s still angry, but that’s not even what this is about. She’s mainly done with all the pain of this relationship. Sharon doesn’t think Nick’s the man for her anymore, so she’ll push him to accept that later this week. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will shut down Nick’s latest apology and urge him to move on. She’ll make it clear that they’re never, ever getting back together.
Nick still won’t give up, but he may back off Sharon for now. Instead, he’ll find a different task to focus on. Nick can tell that Sharon and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) are growing closer. When that trend continues, Nick will pipe up about it. He’ll corner Rey and deliver a few harsh threats.
Nick will insist that he can see right through guys like Rey. He’ll argue that Rey may be kind on the surface, but he’s manipulative underneath. Nick will feel like Rey’s only going to hurt Sharon in the end. That may be true since we know Rey’s out to get the cover-up crew!
Of course, there’s a good chance Rey’s feelings for Sharon will derail his plan. He could become quite conflicted as time goes on. Regardless, Nick will be keeping an eye on the competition. Could he do some digging and stumble across a huge secret? It’d be interesting if Nick started looking into what Rey knows and found out even more than him.
Nick might eavesdrop and find out the whole J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) story. That’s completely plausible thanks to the typical girls’ night gang meetings. Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Sharon, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) have a bad habit of discussing their secret in public places.
What would Nick do with the deadly cover-up info? He might be angry and view Sharon as a hypocrite. She flew off the handle about Nick’s big secret when she was keeping one of her own. Nick could seek revenge if his rage hits too hard.
Then again, Nick may be desperate enough to overlook that. He may hope he can somehow use this as a way to get back with Sharon. Nick could help her understand what Rey’s really doing and promise to protect her. He could even resort to blackmail since the Nick we used to know is apparently gone.
Y&R fans know this is a darker, bolder Nick. There’s no reason to think he wouldn’t hold this over Sharon’s head and push for another shot. That plan would backfire spectacularly, but love and despair can drive people to do crazy things.
