The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that the Abbotts will face total turmoil. A dangerous secret gets out in Thursday’s episode, so chaos will erupt soon enough. Thanks to Ravi (Abhi Sinha) and the restored memory card, Kyle (Michael Mealor) will know that his dad’s not really an Abbott.
If the DNA test results were accurate, Jack’s (Peter Bergman) father was someone besides John (Jerry Douglas). Kyle will deal with a double whammy since he’ll also lose his blood Abbott ties. However, Kyle won’t go spreading the news right away. He’ll feel like he should get a bit more info before he does anything else.
On next week’s new Y&R episodes, April 30 – May 4, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will fish for more info from Dina (Marla Adams). He’ll grow closer to her in an attempt to learn Jack’s true paternity. Of course, Dina doesn’t remember much. She’s been trying to come up with a name, but she still may not have any luck.
Nevertheless, Kyle might get a clue or two that he can use to his advantage. He’ll keep working on his mission, but this could land him in hot water with Victor (Eric Braeden). Y&R fans will recall that Victor advised against the Dina strategy. It was strange since Vic normally uses anything he can to target his enemies.
Victor enjoyed a special night with Dina not too long ago, so maybe he just doesn’t want her caught in the fallout. He certainly has sympathy for Dina’s struggles. However, there could be a deeper reason for Victor’s reaction. Does Victor already know the truth? Could he even be in the loop on who Jack’s real father is?
It’s possible that Dina spilled that tidbit while dancing with Victor. She might’ve even shared the name of Jack’s dad and forgotten it just as quickly. Dina’s memory is unpredictable, so who knows what she was able to divulge that evening?
Whatever the case, Victor probably won’t be happy that his young ally went against his wishes. If Kyle reveals what he knows, Victor may lash out at him for snooping. He may argue that Kyle needs to leave this alone if he knows what’s good for him.
That could make Kyle even more curious about this buried family secret. This could also point to Victor and Jack sharing the same father. Victor may not be interested in announcing that Jack is his brother! Then again, Jack’s dad could be some evil enemy that Victor would rather not summon. It may be a risk to all of them.
