Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some breaking news to report about the departure of a popular Days star. Daytime Confidential is reporting that Olivia Rose Keegan, who portrays Claire Brady on the NBC soap, has been let go from Days.
Olivia has been with Days of Our Lives since 2015, when Claire arrived in Salem from her previous home in Hong Kong. Claire is the only child of Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
The news of Olivia’s departure comes just days after it was announced that Nadia Bjorlin, who portrays Chloe Lane, is also leaving Days. There have been rumors about multiple Days actors being let go due to budget cuts at NBC. It would seem that Nadia and Olivia are he first casualties of those cuts.
Olivia was also recently pre-nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Claire Brady. On the show, Clare is a trouble-making teen who is currently involved with Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) after conspiring with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) to break up Tripp and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal).
There’s no word about Olivia’s final air date, or about what she’ll be doing after departing Days. Olivia is also a musician, recording under the name Liv Keegan, so her future plans may revolve around her music career.
