Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, May 9, tease that the people of Salem will have a big decision to make. As election day arrives, voters will make their choice. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will try to believe he’s convinced them he’s the right one. The same goes for his campaign manager and bossy wife, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva).
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will hope for the best, but he’ll also prepare for the worst. Jack and Eve did some serious damage at the last debate. Despite Sheila Watkins’ (Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins) defense of Abe, a picture’s worth a thousand words. Sheila may have taken the blame for that kiss, but it’s still burned in voters’ brains along with Jack’s insistence that Abe is a lying cheater.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) will make it back from her recent trip. She undoubtedly felt like she should get home and cover the election, but she’ll dread dealing with Jack again. This isn’t the man Jenn once knew and loved, so it’s hard to look Jack in the eye and face his total personality change.
DOOL fans can expect another tense interaction on Thursday. Jennifer will bump into Jack, which should lead to another argument between them. They’ll keep going in circles, but it’s clear that it isn’t getting them anywhere. Jack and Jennifer won’t be working through their issues until Jack gets his memories back. Unfortunately, there’s no sign of that happening anytime soon.
Jack will inevitably recall his past down the road, but he’ll remain Eve’s puppet for now. At the hospital, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will deliver some terrible news. She’ll have some unfortunate updates for Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith), so this must involve Will’s tumor.
Despite the attempts to shrink it, there’s a good chance that tumor hasn’t reduced in size. In fact, it may be growing larger and that’s obviously dangerous. Dr. Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) mentioned that surgery was risky due to the location of the tumor. However, it could become Will’s only option if this growth keeps up.
Finally, Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) will score one more recording of Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). She’ll get him to admit that his marriage to Haley Chen (Thia Megia) is a sham and hand the taped evidence over to Eve, who’ll be thrilled for Jack’s sake. Days spoilers say Claire will hope her last-ditch effort works, but things won’t turn out the way she wants next week.
