Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will consider making a huge confession on August 8. Thanks to a fierce fight between Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), Kristen will finally get what she wants. Brady will cave in after “Nicole Walker” (Arianne Zucker) makes her move again, so they’ll hook up and leave Kristen on cloud nine.
Once the deed is done, Brady may be glad he let his walls down and allowed himself to take this step. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will contemplate coming clean shortly after this love-making session. It sounds like it’ll go great, so Kristen may wonder if Brady would love her for her. Perhaps Brady will go on and on about how fantastic the sex was. He might feel like they have a far bigger spark than before.
Kristen may take that as a sign that she can please Brady like no other woman. We should point out that Brady and Kristen were a solid, sexy couple once upon a time. Kristen genuinely loved Brady, but it was too late to stop the fallout of her schemes once she figured that out and realized it could work. Their relationship imploded, and Kristen’s seemingly been pining for Brady ever since.
Of course, Eileen Davidson was playing the role back then, and she had some steamy chemistry with Martsolf. Stacy Haiduk has put her own unique spin on Kristen and works as a formidable villainess, but the “Bristen” magic hasn’t really been recaptured. Things change when you start recasting roles. Certain DOOL stars work better with others, so sometimes you just have to go where the chem is.
It’s just as well since Kristen might be too out of control to make this a viable pairing anyway. She needs someone with a dark side like her. Brady may get angry from time to time, but he’s not evil. It’s tough to imagine any scenario where Brady forgives Kristen for faking Holly Jonas’ (Harlow and Scarlett Mallory) death and posing as Nicole.
Kristen’s also lying to get Brady in bed, so he’ll join Eric on the list of men Kristen has raped. Brady will be giving his consent to Nicole, not Kristen! Days spoilers say Kristen will ultimately back out of her identity admission, which is a good idea under the circumstances. However, Kristen can expect backlash sooner or later. It’s only a matter of time before Brady learns the truth and flies off the handle.
