General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that many fans were impressed by the young teen who helped Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Turkey. Ashton Arbab portrayed Dev for some exciting scenes, so GH viewers might be curious about the actor. It turns out he had an unexpected General Hospital connection before he ever stepped on set.
Eden McCoy plays Josslyn Jacks on the ABC soap, and she’s got a great relationship with many of her costars. That includes Arbab, but not because they’ve shared scenes together. It turns out they’re friends who go way back! McCoy explained everything in a sweet tweet on Twitter. She filled GH fans in on her bond with Arbab and gave him a warm welcome to the show.
“Ashton and I have been friends since we were babies and it was so awesome having him @AshtonArbab playing Dev at #GH with us,” McCoy said. She posted several fun pics that featured Arbab. One of them showed McCoy sitting on a sofa between Arbab and William Lipton, who portrays Cameron Webber on General Hospital.
It doesn’t look like Lipton and Arbab were friends beforehand, but they certainly are now! After McCoy posted her comments and photos, Lipton offered a reply. “Favorites,” Lipton said and added a couple of emoji hearts. People tend to hear a lot about behind-the-scenes drama, but sometimes it’s nice to highlight the good stuff! It’s fantastic to see that these teen stars get along so well.
Some General Hospital viewers are even rooting for Sonny to bring Dev home to Port Charles. While that might be farfetched, he’s a solid actor who would be an excellent addition. They could always switch it up and just have Arbab play a new character at Joss’ school.
In the replies to McCoy’s tweet, people had loads of praise for Arbab’s work. Some GH watchers would like to see Josslyn torn between potential love interests. One fan tweeted, “The triangle we want and deserve, you Cameron and this cutie.” Another viewer said, “Bring him to Port Charles and throw him in the mix!”
