General Hospital Spoilers: Has Cameron’s Abuse By Evil Shiloh Gone Too Far - GH Fans Outraged

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one plot point has social media buzzing in outrage. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) inadvertently got himself caught up in Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) evil plan. He was strapped to a chair and prepared for brain-mapping so Shiloh can access Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories. Did GH writers go too far with this twist?

Cameron Fans Are Furious

Cameron fans are referring to this as abuse among other things. He’s fastened to a chair with his legs tied together and has been begging for his freedom. Dr. Arthur Cabot (Time Winters) gave Cam an injection to proceed with a procedure that could kill him. Poor Cameron’s has no idea why this is happening to him.

Cameron used Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as a threat against Shiloh, but the fact that his half-brother’s dad is Jason only seemed to please his captor. That’s because Shiloh wants to hurt Jason, and using Cam for his experiment would have lasting effects on his enemy.

Shiloh’s Taunting Is Cruel

Shiloh continued to taunt Cameron by suggesting no one could hear him when he screamed for help. The cruel cult leader even noted Cameron wouldn’t remember his fear of the procedure. Cameron has no control over anything and feels helpless at this point. He must be imagining his memories of his mother, brothers, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and dead pal Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) evaporating.

However, Shiloh made a huge mistake. He drove Cameron’s car to the spot where the memory-mapping is to occur, and the right person happened to see it. Of course, we’re talking about Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).

Franco Has Arrived

Thanks to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and his meter maid friend, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) has arrived on scene and will save Cameron. Nevertheless, this has been quite an ordeal for Cam and will ultimately fill him with guilt. It seems Franco will lose his memories after trading places with Cameron. That’ll be difficult for Cameron to deal with, especially as Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) suffers.

It’s a good thing Franco showed up when he did since Cameron getting the procedure could’ve been a disaster. If Cam even survived, he could’ve ended up with the memories of a Navy SEAL. We can only imagine some of the dark things Drew’s seen and done. Not to mention Cameron would’ve remembered being with his buddy Oscar’s mom, Kim Nero (Tamara Braun). Disgusting!

William Lipton Shined

At the same time, this was an excellent chance for Lipton to show off his acting chops. Some General Hospital viewers might object to what Cameron went through, but Lipton did a great job. It was also something a little different for the show. Cameron isn’t the usual victim, so it’s tough to fault GH for trying to add some variety in their storylines.

Besides, Cameron’s going to be just fine. It was all a big fake-out essentially since Franco’s the one in real trouble now. Cameron wasn’t beaten or physically hurt, and all his memories will stay intact. Some might say all’s well that ends well and just enjoy the drama.

Were these scenes really too much or are some GH viewers just overreacting? Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say there’s much more chaos to come in Port Charles.
