General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will eventually face a shocker. For months, Michael has believed that his baby, Jonah Corinthos, died last summer. He’s unknowingly his son’s godfather and has no idea he’s currently on a mission to protect his own flesh and blood.
This storyline will start moving along now that Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) knows he fathered Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) child. Willow doesn’t realize her child is dead, so Shiloh doesn’t realize it either. Thanks to the baby swap and Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) silence, big trouble’s brewing.
Shiloh will inevitably find out that Wiley Cooper-Jones is the baby Willow gave up for adoption. That could lead to major pressure for Brad, especially if it sparks a custody battle. Not even Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) knows the original Wiley died before he had a chance to meet him. Will Brad be tempted to come clean and shut Shiloh down, even if means losing his family? At least the baby would be reunited with his real father.
Brad told Julian Jerome (William deVry) part of the story, but he conveniently left out the fact that he made the switch with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Speaking of Nelle, General Hospital spoilers say she’ll appear during the week of June 10-14 and more appearances may follow. There could be pressure for her as this story heats up, too.
If Nelle learns a cult leader is after her son, will she decide to do something about it? Nelle might decide that a life with Michael would be better for Jonah than one at DoD. She’s certainly not a good person, but perhaps there’s some hint of maternal instincts buried somewhere.
Brad and Julian will remain concerned about the secret getting out. The truth would blow up the “Brucas” family and would turn Lucas against them. Could Lucas ever forgive them for lying about something so huge? It’s already been hard for Julian to form and maintain a relationship with Lucas. He could make it downright impossible with an exposed secret like this.
Lucas and Michael are family, but Michael isn’t going to let Lucas or Brad keep his son. This is a man who’s grieved over Jonah for almost a year now. He also adores “Wiley” and will want to raise him when he discovers that the kid’s actually Jonah.
Michael will likely go after Nelle’s rights as well since she gave their child away. Lucas and Brad could fight him, but there won’t be much they can do legally since Michael never signed away his rights. Once a DNA test proves “Wiley” indeed belongs to Michael, he’ll get his child back and Lucas will be heartbroken.
You can bet Lucas will blame Brad for accepting Nelle’s crazy offer and lying to him for so long. He may not even be able to stay in Port Charles. It would be awfully tough for Lucas to watch Michael happily raising Jonah. General Hospital spoilers say the separation from “Wiley” will be unbearable for Lucas.
Lucas just might pack up, leave town and put Brad behind him. He’ll feel betrayed by both his father and his husband, so it’ll be a long time before Lucas can even thinking about healing from this. General Hospital spoilers reveal that the baby swap chaos will erupt sooner or later, so stay tuned.
