General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will soon be in for a big heartbreak. As GH viewers know, she’s currently head-over-heels in love with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). These two have become quite close lately, and now they’re talking about finding a place and moving in together. But Peter’s got some big secrets that he’s keeping from Maxie and everyone else. He was directly involved in abducting Drew Cain (Billy Miller) from Afghanistan years ago, working with Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).
And now, Peter has taken drastic measures to make sure that his past crimes don’t come back to haunt him. He’s made sure that Drew “disappeared” and likely died overseas, and he might soon be going after Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), who has Drew’s memories, which could implicate Peter if Franco ends up remembering certain details. He also nearly had Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) killed to cover up his crimes as well. Clearly, he’s willing to do just about anything to keep his past a secret.
But now, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have reason to suspect that Peter has a connection to Shiloh. As GH viewers know, Peter was spotted by Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) on the pier on the night that Shiloh held him, Sam, and Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson) hostage on The Haunted Star. Peter was bringing Shiloh cash, and now Sam and Jason suspect he was working with Shiloh.
And now they’ve got Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) involved in trying to find a link between Peter and Shiloh…and that’s got to signal an eventual death blow to Maxie and Peter’s relationship. Spinelli really cares about Maxie, and now that he’s gotten wind that Peter may be a bad guy, he’ll be determined to uncover what’s going on there. General Hospital spoilers tell us that nothing stops Spinelli on a mission, so the truth is destined to come out.
But Jason, Sam, and Spinelli have decided to keep their investigation into Peter a secret from Maxie for the time being. So, we have to wonder exactly when Maxie is going to find out about Peter and his dark side. She and Peter are now talking about moving in together, so will Spinelli find something before she makes a big mistake and gets even more serious with the guy?
It’s going to be a huge heartbreak for Maxie when the truth finally comes out about Peter and what he’s done. Of course, GH viewers know that Maxie’s romantic history is pretty troubled and tragic, so she’ll surely be devastated when she realizes just how much she misjudged Peter. But when will the truth come out? Will Spinelli find out the truth about Peter’s past before Maxie makes a huge mistake and moves in with Peter?
