General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will have to suffer behind bars for a while. That’ll leave Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to suffer on the outside, but what’s the point of all this? There’s surely a reason Sam was found guilty and sentence to two years behind bars. Part of it may be about Jason finally devoting his full attention to taking down Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
What about Sam’s side though? GH may have big plans for her at Pentonville. Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) is presumed dead and won’t be a problem for Sam moving forward. That’s one less thing for Jason to worry about. However, we can’t forget there’s another familiar inmate for Sam to cross paths with. Will Sam tangle with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) while she’s incarcerated?
Perhaps that could be another reason why General Hospital left Sam in prison. After all, they could’ve just had Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) win the case for her. Sam could’ve walked free and helped Jason take down Peter. She didn’t have to stay locked up for that part of the story to work. With that in mind, there’s a chance GH wants Sam at Pentonville to interact with Nelle.
We have to remember that there’s a huge secret just waiting to be uncovered. Sooner or later, someone has to expose the truth about “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson). Nelle switched her baby for Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) deceased one, but Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) have no idea. The same goes for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who’s clueless that the baby she’s fought so hard to protect isn’t her son after all.
GH fans are eager for this secret to blow wide open, so could Sam be the one to make it happen? Sam might as well make herself useful while she’s in the slammer. It’s easy to imagine Sam getting a hint or two and putting the puzzle pieces together.
Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) could inadvertently pitch in. The fact that “Wiley” was born on the same night as Jonah Corinthos is a big hint on its own. If Sam encounters Harmony as well and it ever comes up, that could be something that sticks out in Sam’s mind. Harmony knows “Wiley” shares the same birthday as Nelle’s “dead” son, so it’s something that could be important moving forward.
General Hospital spoilers say Sam will have a rough time at Pentonville, but maybe her prison stint will be a blessing in disguise. If Sam figures out the truth about “Wiley,” it would make her time there worth it! Could Sam be one to reunite Michael and Jonah? We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
