General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, October 15 Review - Nina Shows Bad Judgment, Takes Valentin Back - Finn Figures Out Hayden’s Lie

General Hospital (GH) spoilers review for Tuesday, October 15, reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) quickly noticed that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was packed up and ready to go somewhere. She soon found out that he was taking Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and heading to Greece, which seemed to make it look like Valentin was admitting his guilt in being in on Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) fake daughter scam. Nina wondered how Valentin could let Charlotte believe she had a new sister, and Valentin stated, “because it’s the only way I could get you back.”

But Valentin never came right out and said that he participated in Sasha’s scam. Rather, he and Nina kind of danced around the whole subject, and Valentin then admitted to finding out about Nina having a daughter from Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) and putting Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) on the case. Next, he admitted to vetting Sasha but never vetting the adoption lawyer – his big mistake. He apologized to Nina for not stopping the scam from happening.

And then, in an over-the-top move, Valentin started crying and saying that he’ll never forgive himself for setting Nina up for such heartbreak. He ended by saying that all he ever wanted to do was love her, and when he was walking out to leave, Nina told him to wait. Clearly buying his outright lies, Nina told Valentin not to go to Greece and that she forgave him. She said that it was Sasha’s fault for lying, but the real tragedy would be if she lost Valentin and Charlotte, too. They then declared their mutual love and kissed.

Of course, this is all going to come back and bite Valentin at some point. But we can’t help but wonder what effect it’s going to have on Sasha. After all, the best situation for Valentin and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in this situation is if Sasha just disappears and never returns. But the likelihood of that happening at this point are slim, given that Sasha is in a new relationship with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Plus, Michael knows the truth that Valentin and Obrecht were in on the scam. Somewhere along the line, the truth is going to come out.

Meanwhile, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) jumped to the right conclusions about Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). He spent a little time with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and divulged his concern that Hayden may be lying to him. He relayed the story about the finger painting that he caught Hayden with and the “honeybun” dog story, and he outright wondered if perhaps Hayden hadn’t miscarried their child all those years ago.

Alexis thought it sounded a little far-fetched, but she encouraged him to talk to Hayden about his suspicions. He balked at that, noting that you don’t just go up to someone and ask them if they secretly had one’s child. So Alexis suggested that Finn talk with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about the whole thing, which Finn also balked at. But eventually, Alexis wore him down and he called Anna and asked her to come home because he needs her.

Go, Finn, for actually figuring out the mystery! But now he needs to confront Hayden directly, rather than messing around with Anna and getting her take on things. Sure, he should lean on his significant other support, but he really doesn’t need her to deal with Hayden right now. Hopefully, he’ll get his courage up and just come out and ask Hayden if she had his child – that would be refreshing to see!
