The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, March 29, tease that some significant mail will arrive at Jabot. It’ll be addressed to Dominique Caroll, but things aren’t quite as they seem. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get a huge shock when he opens the letter. He’ll realize he needs to get in touch with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) ASAP, so that’s exactly what he’ll do.
At the athletic club, Jack will make an admission to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). He’ll confess that there are trust issues with Kerry Johnson (Alice Hunter). Jack will find it hard to get past the lies Kerry’s told and the secrets she’s kept. The Young and the Restless spoilers say the worst is still to come!
Suddenly, Billy will call and announce that they’ve got a serious problem on their hands. Once Jack meets up with Billy, he’ll learn that the Jack of Hearts patent was already filed by another company. Billy will gripe that Kerry either got duped by her intern or was in cahoots with her. When Jack confronts Kerry later, she’ll reveal it was neither. Kerry simply used a fake name as part of the plot.
After Jack gets a text about an emergency board meeting, Kerry will promise that everything will be revealed soon enough. She’ll refer to the plan as “spectacular,” but Jack obviously won’t agree!
Meanwhile, another round of bad news will hit Jabot. It turns out Jack of Hearts wasn’t the only patent that was scooped up. Every single one of their recent patent requests has been denied.
Phyllis and Billy will bicker about what happened on Phyllis’ watch. She’ll insist he better not have had anything to do with this, but Billy wouldn’t sabotage his family’s company like that. As everyone gathers and confusion erupts, Kerry will walk in with Jack close behind. He’ll explain the truth behind the Dominique Caroll situation, so the others will be in shock.
Kerry will admit they made it easy for her. When Jack confesses there was a partner involved, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will waltz in.
At the Abbott mansion, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will realize it’s time to tell her family she was Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) liver donor. She’ll hope Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will keep up the loving attitude he had at the hospital.
Later, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get updates on the surgery and express concern. He’ll hate that he didn’t know it was happening, but at least it all worked out. Nick will determine that Summer must’ve done this because Kyle cares about Lola. He’ll ask if Nick loves Summer, so Kyle will confirm that he does.
In a private moment, Y&R spoilers say Nick will offer Kyle a warning. He’ll make it clear that he won’t stand for his daughter getting hurt. Kyle will promise not to and argue that Lola needed someone who was a better match. Afterward, Summer will rejoin them to receive a wedding gift. She’ll be blown away when Nick offers to build “Skyle” a new house on some property he owns.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will stop by Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) apartment. She’ll want to give Lola some bone broth and keep her company for a bit. Abby and Lola will agree not to Kyle and Arturo Rosales’ (Jason Canela) choices affect their friendship. They’ll also chat about the new restaurant, which Abby still wants Lola to be the chef for.
Back with Summer and Kyle, they’ll make their way to the coffeehouse. Summer will be gushing about their new home and future together when Lola walks in looming glum. It sounds like Lola and Kyle will be stuck pining for a while. We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R details emerge.
