The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, December 2, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will try to help Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) figure out his future. At Society, they’ll play a little word association game and get the creative juices flowing. The game will spark the idea of Billy doing something tied to construction, so Victoria will suggest he should talk to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about New Hope. However, Billy will want to find something on his own.
After Victoria gets busy with a call, Billy will decide to head out. He won’t look too happy as he goes! At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he’ll get updates on Colin Atkinson’s (Tristan Rogers) escape from custody. Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV (Donny Boaz) will call with the news and leave Devon furious all over again. He’ll rant about two con men playing him for a fool and insist they’re going to pay the price.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will mention that Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) wouldn’t want Devon to seek revenge. Devon will seem irritated that Elena brought Neil into the conversation. He’ll also be frustrated when Elena suggests she isn’t so sure about Cane Ashby’s (Daniel Goddard) guilt. Devon will argue that once a con man, always a con man.
Elena will think Devon’s better than that mentality and will refuse to let Devon push her away. She’ll argue that if he’s trying to, he’ll lose because she’s not going anywhere. At the Grand Phoenix, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be running late for his meeting with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). She’ll tease Nate about it, but he’ll tease back that it’s not like they’re dating or anything.
Nate will wonder what’s next for Amanda, so she’ll ask him if he’s ever wanted to break free. Y&R spoilers say Nate will praise all Genoa City has to offer, and Amanda will back him up on that. Even so, Amanda will worry about her face holding he back in GC. It won’t be long until Devon appears and rants about them spending time together. Devon will insist Amanda came to town just to defraud him.
After Amanda takes her cue to leave, Nate will defend her to Devon. Unfortunately, nothing Nate says will change Devon’s mind about her. He’ll feel like Amanda should’ve bailed as soon as she found out she looked like Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). Elena will get in on this discussion as well. She’ll blast Nate for getting too close to Amanda, but Nate will insist he doesn’t see Hilary when he looks at her. It’s not like with Devon.
Elena will gripe about Colin bringing Amanda to Genoa City and advise against convincing her to stay. She’ll want Nate to consider what this is doing to Devon. Whether Nate thinks so or not, he’s choosing sides.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will explain Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) idea to her beau. At Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) place, Nick will be appalled over Adam asking Chelsea to move in. Chelsea will insist this is about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). She won’t want Nick getting the wrong idea about her bond with Adam, but he’ll insist there’s no line his brother won’t cross.
Chelsea will think Nick’s wrong about that, so he’ll leave the house to get some air. After Nick ends up at Society, he’ll vent to Victoria about Adam being the problem. Nick will complain that Adam won’t stop until he gets what he wants. He’ll fret about Chelsea’s vulnerability and how people do things they wouldn’t normally do in that shape. Victoria will relate that to Billy and agree.
When Nick comes back, he’ll see that Chelsea’s packing up some of her stuff. Chelsea will reiterate that Connor needs his mom, but Nick will remain wary. He won’t think it’s fair that Chelsea’s leaving him as well as Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). Nick will tell Chelsea he loves her and wants to be honest about how he feels.
Chelsea will keep insisting that it’s not about Adam, so Nick will finally relent. He’ll assure Chelsea that he’ll support her however he can, but he’ll look uneasy as she exits.
Over with Chance, he’ll tell Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) he’s at her service. Chance will assure Abby that he’s sticking around and will help with the robbery drama. Abby will talk about her social media blast, which she hopes will lure the thief. Chance will promise that the camera will be ready and will continue to flirt with Abby. Soon after, another woman will report a robbery.
At a dive bar, Billy will struggle to stop staring at Amanda. The Young and the Restless spoilers say she’ll assume Billy must’ve known Hilary. Next, a drunk man will hit on Amanda and leave her rattled. Billy will step up to help, but Amanda will snap out of her fear and urge the guy to get some air outside. She’ll make it clear that she’s got this, but she’ll offer to buy Billy another drink for having her back.
Billy will reply “maybe next time” and exchange a smile with Amanda before she heads out. The Young and the Restless say Billy will also let Victoria’s call go to voicemail, so trouble could be brewing. Amanda and Billy will find themselves stranded together later this week!
