The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 1, tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will try to make peace with Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) death. Morgan’s been reprising her role in Devon’s grief-stricken visions, so she may appear once again. Devon might feel the need to talk to Hilary this time and insist he has to let her go.
Devon certainly doesn’t want to lose all the wonderful memories he made with Hilary. She’ll always be in his heart, but he’s falling for Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) now. Devon shouldn’t throw away what’s in the present by clinging to the past. He needs to find closure regarding Hilary’s passing, so he’ll be determined to make it happen.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon’s efforts will ultimately pay off. He’ll never truly get over the pain of losing Hilary, but he’ll manage to cope with it and focus on the future. Devon will contact Elena soon enough and convince her that he’s ready to move on.
They’ll still have to take it slow, but they can start by heading to the carnival this week. It’ll be in town for Independence Day festivities, so Devon and Elena can have some fun. Plenty of other Y&R characters will take in the carnival scene as well, so there’ll be a little something for everyone.
Until then, Y&R spoilers say Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will meet with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) alone. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) won’t be thrilled about that, but Chelsea will contend that she can handle herself. She’s a tough chick and isn’t scared of facing her past with Adam. Deep down, there’s a lot of love left between them.
Chelsea will accept Adam’s kiss and savor their reunion for a moment. She’ll head back to the penthouse with Adam eventually, but some disappointing news will follow. Chelsea will contend that she’s not back to begin a new chapter as Adam hopes. Instead, she’ll push Adam to come to grips with the end of their romance. Chelsea will bring up her new life and urge Adam to find a new path, too.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that several twists and turns are ahead for “Chadam,” so this storyline’s just getting started. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R details emerge.
