The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will keep trying to find a new path. He’s undoubtedly feeling a bit lost right now thanks to his romantic setbacks. Nick blew it with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), which led to his reunion with Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni). That turned out to be even more of a disaster, so Nick’s now all alone.
Well, at least alone as far as solid relationships go! Nick has definitely enjoyed some hot, meaningless hookups, and it looks like he could enjoy a few more in the coming weeks. Nick will keep living the single life, which won’t be very fulfilling. However, it’ll bring some intriguing people into Nick’s orbit. He’ll try to make the best of it and perhaps hope for real love down the road.
Unfortunately, Nick’s love life may have to take a backseat. Y&R fans can expect big trouble in Nick’s world, and it’ll have nothing to do with who’s in his bed. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) return will leave Nick reeling in so many ways. Once the shock wears off, reality will set in. It appears Adam will make what he wants crystal clear to Nick.
Adam will likely be a more broken and bitter version of himself. He previously wanted Nick to raise Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen), but it seems that’ll change once he’s back from the “dead.” The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick’s world will shatter as he’s forced to fight for everything he holds dear. That certainly makes it sound like a custody battle’s on the way.
Adam may hit town and immediately inform Nick that he’ll be taking his son back. He’ll think he has every right to do so, but Nick won’t want the boy ripped out of his home. Nick loves Christian as his own, so he won’t want to give him up – especially to someone who would be a stranger to the kid at this point. Christian doesn’t know him from Adam, which is a particularly appropriate expression here.
Nevertheless, Adam is Christian’s biological father, and that’ll carry some weight in court. He may also have Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) on his side, so that could be another strike against Nick. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will have to get ruthless if he wants to keep Christian and put Adam in his place.
