The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 9, tease that Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) will summon Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) for a chat at Crimson Lights. She’ll pretend she’s got a catering gig for her, but Lola will suspect this is really about Summer Abbott’s (Hunter King) marriage. Lola will assume Phyllis wants to know if she’s going to be a real threat.
Phyllis will admit she’s seen the way Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) looks at Lola. She won’t think Kyle’s ever going to look at Summer that way, so she’ll feel like the three of them need to face reality. Phyllis will also note that she’s taking Summer out of town for a few days to help her see the light. Later, Phyllis will indeed convince Summer to take off for a spa retreat with her.
Back with Lola, she’ll cross paths with Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez), who’ll talk about being pregnant and alone. Mia will assure Lola that the baby has to belong to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). She’ll want Lola to speak with Rey and try to save their marriage. Mia will refuse to let Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) win, and she won’t want Lola to let Summer win either.
At the Abbott mansion, Summer will get a job offer from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). She’ll hold off on answering him until she returns from her trip, which she’ll also fill Kyle in on. Over with Phyllis, she’ll call someone and insist that the clock starts now. Phyllis will want her spy to watch every move Kyle and Lola make. Afterward, Kyle will run into Lola at the coffeehouse and get greeted with a smile.
At Rey’s place, he’ll get a visit from Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). The Young and the Restless spoilers say Paul will want to give Rey another shot. He won’t be willing to put Rey back on full-time, but he’ll need help solving the case of Lola’s attack. After Paul walks Rey through the evidence, he’ll contend that the culprit may have been targeting Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
Rey will admit that Mia had a heated argument with Abby that night. However, he’ll lie that Mia had an alibi during the time of the attack. Rey will insist that Mia and Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) were together, so Y&R spoilers say Paul will plan to look into it.
Once Paul’s gone, Mia will arrive to talk about the baby and try to score some money. Rey will end up handing over cash, but he’ll remain doubtful that this is his child. Meanwhile, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will face some doubts of her own. She’ll think Jack’s pitch for Jabot Collective is great, but she’ll have concerns about putting so much faith in fashion, especially when Fenmore’s could be in jeopardy.
Jack will continue to push his lifestyle angle, but trouble’s brewing. Later, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will unveil some eerily similar plans online. Jack will read all about My Beauty Collective, a lifestyle brand that sounds exactly like what he just pitched.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley planted a listening device in the gift basket she sent, so Jack will make a shocking discovery later this week.
