The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, August 20, tease that Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will grow increasingly suspicious. She can already tell something’s up with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), but he’s done his best to throw her off the trail. Michael doesn’t want anyone else he cares about getting caught up this. Protecting Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) has been hard enough!
However, it’s clear to Lauren that Michael’s hiding something. She’ll continue to battle concerns in Tuesday’s episode, so it won’t be long until she calls Michael out. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Michael will make another questionable choice in a string of questionable choices. His decision-making skills will be criticized as Lauren insists there’s definitely something going on.
Michael will insist that’s not the case, but Lauren knows him better than anyone. She’ll feel confident Michael isn’t giving her the whole story – or even a story at all. Lauren just won’t buy this idea that everything’s hunky-dory, so she’ll push Michael to come clean. Y&R spoilers say Lauren will express her frustration and argue that Michael needs to divulge what he’s up against NOW.
Of course, Michael may find himself torn at that point. He might feel like the jig is up since Lauren isn’t going to let this go. It’s possible Michael will spill all he details of why he’s in cahoots with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). It’s also possible Michael will convince himself he can handle this alone and needs to keep Lauren at a distance, even if it causes relationship issues.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers state that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be thrown for a loop. Adam will propose to her out of the blue, so Sharon will be left reeling. She warned Adam to back off, but marriage is literally the thing that would pull them closest. Sharon won’t understand what’s going on in that brain of his, but she’ll suspect Adam has some ulterior motives here.
Adam will assure Sharon that this is about their deep connection. No one gets Adam like Sharon does; no one can be manipulated like her either! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will turn down this offer of marriage, but Adam will encourage her to think about it. He’ll hope Sharon will change her mind eventually and give him what he wants.
