The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, September 25 Review - Adam Rejects Sharon, Throws Her Out - Abby & Nate Know Victor’s Alive

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Wednesday, September 25, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will invite Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) into his penthouse, and things will quickly get contentious. Sharon will essentially offer herself in exchange for him helping to clear Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) name, and Adam will get ruffled and see it as an attempt to accuse him of killing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Sharon will implore Adam to make nice with his family in exchange for her being there for him, but Adam won’t fall for it. Instead, he’ll note that he proposed marriage to her, and he’ll want her to say that she loves him, but she won’t be able to say that, and he’ll get peeved and say that she should just leave and not come back if she can’t give him back what he feels for her.

Ultimately Sharon will leave after they reach an impasse. Sharon will decide that she can’t give up her life and her family for him, and Adam will say that he can’t make peace with his family, and that will be that. It will certainly seem that Adam and Sharon are done in the moment, but does that mean Sharon will stop defending Adam to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and everyone else who will listen? We doubt it.

Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Wednesday, September 25, Victoria and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will meet up with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) at The Grand Phoenix. As it turns out, Abby will know all about the ruse that Nick, Victoria, Nikki, and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) orchestrated to make it seem that Victor is dead. Nikki will update them that Victor remains upset about Victoria’s arrest, but that he still hasn’t given up on Adam.

Later, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will arrive at the hotel, and he and Abby will embrace and talk about the ruse as well. Nate will know all about it, and he and Abby will lament about how they don’t like lying to their family and friends – Nate will have lied to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) earlier about Victor’s death, and Abby will indicate that Summer Newman (Hunter King) is not in on the ruse and truly believes that Victor is dead.

One wonders if the Newmans and Nate have really thought through what’s going to happen when the ruse about Victor’s death finally comes to light. Explaining the situation to Summer isn’t going to be fun, as she’ll not only be peeved about being put through the pain of believing that Victor had died, but she’ll probably be seriously offended that she wasn’t included in the ruse.

Nate could have some serious consequences as well – after all, he must have enlisted the help of other medical professionals to carry on the ruse of taking Victor’s body from the ranch and so forth. Will he come under fire for helping to fake a patient’s death, forging a death certificate, or the like? Time will tell, but one thing’s for sure…he and the Newmans will have some explaining to do.
