Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Allie’s Baby Boy Medical Crisis – Emotional 2021 Story for Grandma Sami and Daddy Tripp?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will decide to surrender and head back to Rome alone. Sami’s only going to damage her relationship with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) even more if she doesn’t. The best thing Sami could do right now is take a step back and let Allie handle things her way.

Allie will move in with Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) and the baby, but so it looks like they’ll join forces on caring for the kid. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami will wrap her current run as September concludes, but she’ll return to Salem for new episodes by late 2020.

Since Sami was supposed to give Allie some space, what will bring her back so quickly? Let’s consider some intriguing clues. Days spoilers say Sami’s upcoming stint will be a lengthy one that lasts through most of 2021.

It’s not like Sami will just be popping in for the holidays. Sami will seemingly come home for a reason – and it looks like it’ll be connected to Allie.

According to Deadline, Sami “will be a part of an emotional storyline centered around family and Sami’s recently SORASed daughter Allie Horton…”

DOOL Head Writer Ron Carlivati told Soap Opera Digest they had an idea that wasn’t fully pitched and approved yet, it does sound like there’ll be an Allie-related catalyst for this homecoming.

Based on that “emotional storyline” part, could that mean Allie’s baby will battle an illness? It makes sense to use that as a way to bring Sami right home. Sami would absolutely rush back to Salem if her grandbaby were sick.

This is certainly a story that could help Allie bond with her son and pull Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) closer, too. It looks like Tripp will soon suspect he’s the father of Allie’s child. If Tripp is indeed the “baby daddy,” it’s easy to imagine him connecting with Allie during their son’s medical crisis.

Tripp is in his final year of medical school, so maybe he could even step up to help Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) save the kid’s life. Of course, a medical crisis also brings the potential for a twist. It might lead to the revelation that Tripp isn’t the father after all, so that’s another angle to keep in mind.

Bottom line, a baby medical crisis seems like an excellent route for Days to take under the circumstances. Will Sami return to support Allie and her sick son? We’ll pass along updates as other DOOL news rolls in.
