Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that there’s still hope for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) future. DOOL fans know Ben didn’t get the answers he wanted in that last showdown with Vincent Belman (Michael Teh).
Ben truly thought Ciara was alive, so he was devastated when Vincent stood by his story and insisted Ciara was gone forever.
Now Ben’s trying to accept a world without Ciara in it, but his instincts were spot-on. Ciara is indeed alive and will remain part of the action in the months ahead.
Of course, we won’t see Ciara frequently since Konefal chose not to return to Days of Our Lives as a full-time cast member. However, Konefal is on board for visits, which DOOL will undoubtedly make the most of.
Days fans may recall the leaked audition tape we reported on, which involved a scene between Ciara and her captor. That scene was about trying to cast a man who worked for Vincent and was holding Ciara somewhere against her will.
Although that was already great evidence that Ciara survived, there’s more proof thanks to DOOL’s 55th anniversary cast photo. Days of Our Lives included Konefal and promoted Ciara’s continued love story with Ben by having her stand next to Wilson.
It’s clear that Days intends to keep “Cin” going as long as they can, which makes sense considering the popularity of the pairing.
The fact that Konefal’s in this cast pic will hopefully shut down all the haters pushing the Ciara recast idea. A Ciara recast could happen down the road, but it’s definitely not happening anytime soon.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Konefal will remain in the role for the foreseeable future, so we’ll continue to get that familiar chemistry we’ve come to expect from Ben and Ciara.
It’s nice to know Days still has a vision for “Cin” and wants to keep their powerful love for each other going strong. Ciara and Ben have a special connection, so hopefully they won’t stay apart too long! We’ll keep you posted as other Days news and updates roll in.
