Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some sad news to pass on about a popular DOOL star. Chrishell Stause, who portrayed Jordan Ridgeway on the NBC soap, has suffered an immeasurable loss. Chrishell took to social media on Saturday to share with fans that her mother has passed away after a battle with lung cancer.
The news about Chrishell’s mother death comes after her father passed away in April 2019 of lung cancer and amidst her divorce from “This Is Us” star Justin Hartley.
Chrishell posted several photographs and some videos of herself, her mother, and their family on Instagram, along with a heartbreaking caption: “In disbelief that you are gone. Feeling just about every emotion, but I find comfort knowing Dad is up there taking care of you and showing you the ropes like only he could.”
Chrishell continued: “Absolutely heartbreaking watching you take your last labored breath, but there is a peace knowing you two are together again, free from the pain that plagued your time here. A free spirit and rebel till the very end. My beautiful Mom, in your own words #F***Cancer.”
Chrishell ended by saying: “Our family would like to thank the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center and especially Debbie and Pam who helped lovingly assist our Mom to the other side. Your kindness and care in this time will never be forgotten.”
Chrishell’s soap co-stars have been responding steadily to the sad news on Instagram.
Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Weston, DOOL) said: “Sending you all the love,” while Martha Madison (Belle Black, DOOL) commented by saying: “Chrishell I am so sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with you and your family. From what I know of you, she must have been so fun, strong and smart. I’m sure she was so proud of you. Sending love.”
And Tamara Braun (Kim Nero, GH), who worked with Chrishell on All My Children, commented: “Oh sweet Chrishell, my heart is with you. Sending so much love to you and your family.” Chrishell has received a lot of fan love as well, with her followers sending their condolences and prayers during this sad time.
It was back in June that Chrishell posted updates about her mother, along with some pictures of her mom wearing wigs that Chrishell had given her.
Chrishell first disclosed her mom’s cancer diagnosis back in February on World Cancer Day, and she updated her fans about her mom’s battle, including a #StandUpToCancer post in May sharing her mom’s successful completion of her first full round of treatment.
Chrishell Stause can currently be seen in the Netflix reality show “Selling Sunset” and she’ll appear as Jordan Ridgeway in Monday’s episode of DOOL as part of Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) pre-wedding nightmare.
