Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that things aren’t looking good for Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) at the moment. As Ciara’s exit looms, we should consider some troubling clues about how she might depart. It’s important to be prepared for the tough blows ahead.
In an interview with TV Guide, Corday had a rather ominous comment. “No one ever really dies on Days of Our Lives,” Corday said – and the interview specifically mentioned the exits of Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Ciara.
It was heavily implied that a seemingly deadly outcome might await one of those characters – perhaps a presumed death that doesn’t stick. Eric will be alive and well after Vaughan’s final scene airs. In fact, Eric and Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will remain happily married despite Vaughan’s departure.
As for Hope, Corday couldn’t really have been teasing her outcome since Alfonso left and didn’t film her exit. Even if Hope does end up presumed dead, Corday has vowed not to recast and Alfonso has said she’s never coming back. That doesn’t fit with the “no one ever really dies” idea. This seemingly dead person would have to return.
That leaves Ciara, who seems like a great contender for a presumed dead outcome – especially since Vincent has vowed to take her from Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). Now that we know Vincent wants to avenge the death of his beloved Wendy Taylor (Denice Duff), it changes everything.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will land in a deadly jam during the week of September 7-11, which will leave Ben struggling to save her. Vincent will drive Ciara somewhere, so it’s possible she’ll appear to meet a grim fate in that car – or it could be at another location.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Hope will fill Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) in on an explosion during the week of September 14-18. Eve already knows about the one that happened at the wedding since she orchestrated it herself. This has to be a second explosion – one that Ciara might appear to be blown up in.
We may be gearing up for an exit that’s a lot like Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) previous one. DOOL fans will recall how a distraught Eric watched helplessly – unable to save Nicole at the warehouse. After the warehouse blew up, everyone thought Nicole was dead.
Nicole’s obviously just fine since she’s back in Salem, so don’t panic about Ciara! She can come back in the same way eventually. DOOL Executive Producer Ken Corday has confirmed Victoria Konefal will reprise her role. It may take some time, but “no one ever really dies on Days of Our Lives” – just as Corday said.
Let’s consider one more deadly clue from a new issue of Soap Opera Digest. Days Head Writer Ron Carlivati hinted that Ben would be heartbroken and might have some doubts about the circumstances of Ciara’s exit. There’ll be some difficulties as Ben tries to accept and decide what he actually believes.
That sounds an awful lot like a presumed death, doesn’t it? Ciara will return, but they still need a way to get her off canvas for now. Based on all the clues, it seems like Ciara will be presumed dead in an explosion thanks to Vincent. We’ll provide updates as other DOOL news emerges.
