Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will pay Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) a visit at Bayview, where Claire will make a desperate plea. DOOL fans know Claire came unhinged and became a wild arsonist during her last stint. Claire planned to kill Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) in a fire before breaking down in tears and nearly burning herself alive to end it all.
Fortunately, Marlena was able to convince Claire that she had to stick around and focus on getting better. That’s exactly what Claire’s been doing since she was sent to Bayview.
Claire’s been undergoing therapy and taking the proper medication. She’s been following her doctors’ orders and trying to prove she’s capable of living in society again.
Now that Claire’s indeed doing better, she feels like she’s ready to score her freedom. That’s where Marlena comes in! Days viewers may recall that Marlena was instrumental in evaluating Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and getting him released.
Claire will hope Marlena can do the same for her, so she’ll resort to begging during Marlena’s next visit.
Marlena saw first-hand how out of control Claire was before she was committed. This certainly isn’t a decision that Marlena will make lightly. Marlena may advise Claire to just keep doing what she’s doing and be patient, but Claire will plead with Marlena to get her out of Bayview sooner.
Claire will want to cut her time there short – and that may be partly due to the news of the “Cin” wedding.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will find herself fixated on the idea of Ben and Ciara tying the knot. Claire will argue that this is the ideal opportunity to make things right and repair her damaged bond with Ciara. If Claire can just help give Ciara the perfect dream wedding, she’ll think it’ll be a nice start toward improving their relationship.
Marlena will undoubtedly put up a fight on giving Claire’s release the green light. If Marlena’s wrong about Claire’s recovery and her granddaughter spiral out of control again, Marlena would certainly feel responsible.
Days spoilers say Marlena will bring Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) in on this since they should know what’s going on with their daughter. This has to be a family decision, so they’ll have to get on board with Claire rejoining the outside world.
After Marlena evaluates Claire and is cautiously optimistic about her future, she’ll grant Claire’s wish and recommend her release. From there, Claire will make another crucial request: living in Marlena’s home. Claire won’t be keen on heading back to Hong Kong with Shawn and Belle, so they’ll stay in Salem for a bit and allow Claire to be monitored by Marlena.
This is definitely putting a ton of pressure on Claire’s grandma! Will Claire make Marlena regret getting her out of Bayview early? Time will tell, but Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’ll be some rising suspicions about Claire’s motives over the course of the summer.
